It takes a atg WW to beat an atg MW, and many still to this day think

that Hagler beat Leonard. I still think Leonard won. But, I hope that now you can truly appreciate guys who jump up two weight classes to fight the best guy at their weight.

Emile Griffith and Jose Napoles tried to go up and dethrone Monzon and couldn't.

What Brook tried was to make boxing history with the odds stacked against him and he did well, but like I said...he was just too small. GG even told you that after the fight. GG was ferocious

GG deserves respect because he went out and fought the little guy exactly how you are supposed to. You pressure him the whole fight. If you are man enough to challenge the bigger man, then you are man enough to take his best and Brook did for a few rounds, but in the end GG was too much and it was also too great a jump for Brook.

Hagler did it with hearns but Leonard was a lil bit too cute and let's say tough.

You need to have Atg toughness to do it.

GGG is a lot bigger than Hagler. Hagler would be a 154 poundr today. And he was worn out after a hard career . GGG was fresh

Hearns didn't jump from WW to MW. Remember he had a few JMW fights before he fought Hagler. I like the idea of "you need to have ATG toughness to do it".

What's the catch with this comment Blizz? Where's the GGG bashing or sneid racist comment that's
always in your GGG threads? The mods give you a final ban warning or something?lol

I don't dick ride fighters like you do. I've always been fair to fighters even when I joke on them because they all deserve our respect. And you're the last mofo to ever talk about someone being racist. The last one.

Hagler was a true MW and one of the strongest MW's ever. He was not a 154 lb fighter. He was a true 160.

Sugar Robinson beating Lamotta and Basilio beating Sugar Robinson rank up there. Basilio could not beat Gene Fulmer though. Those fights were beatings. Sugar did exact revenge on Basilio and beat the tar out of him. It is just hard for a WW to beat a MW. Tonight it showed.

    Congratulations to BOTH fighters .

Triple G brought out the best in Brook .

Brook was truly on top of his game tonight unfortunately he was on the verge of getting broken down . Kell was simply overwhelmed tonight .

Warning to the entire 154 pound division .

A True Warrior is coming to terrorize and take over .

His name is "Special K" Kell Brook

Guys I had to go back to find out like I did in the Matthysse Garcia fight to find out how Brooks eye was hurt/swelled up.

I looked at the replay over and over and over and it's either the very first jab GG landed or on DirecTV at the 40 mark you see GG land not a left hook with his fist, but a left hook where his wrist landed on Brooks eye. He landed hard too. After that you can see Brook start to blink. It didn't seem like a clean punch that landed, but a clean punch was thrown.

I just watched it over and over and over and then watched to see if GG landed anything before or after that that shot. Now GG landed a couple of jabs in the beginning, but it can only be the first jab GG threw and landed, a jab where Brook had his back to us and his head bobs back a bit after a GG jab, or the wrist shot that caused the swelling early.
