If thats Azzuri (sp), I dont have youtube in work so cant access the link, then macca clearly carried him through some of the rounds. Also fighter A vs fighter B etc... very rarely makes a blind bit of difference when it comes to the first bell.

If you're trying to say eh cant punch then have a look at the statistics form when his punch was measured, didnt it come out at 4 and a half cubic tons? the same as a transit at 15 mph!?!

Guessing Rob is gonna give us endless anti-Macca threads now instead of the useless anti-Hatton ones we had to put up with last wee.

Whats your point? Calzaghe went the distance with Journeymen like Ashira but Is an all time great and the best British boxer we've had.

You're right about JC going twelve with Ashira, your other two points are wrong though.

He Is an all time great and no British boxer has ever been that dominant and talented.

That said though you overrate Froch.:bart

I'd have to disagree, I think Joe has taken the path of least resistance. Forget 'ten year world champion' and 'twenty-odd world title defences', his greatest win was against Kessler. While that was a true champion's performance, on the grand scheme of things, it wasn't that amazing.

As for Froch, well he is obviously more than average, otherwise he wouldn't get so many mentions on these pages and your favourite promoter Frank Warren wouldn't have tried to sign him. If I was a champion who was a little bit choosy about who I fought, Froch would be the kind of fighter I would avoid - he is obviously dangerous.

Honestly, what the hell is it with German boxing - it was quieter than a morgue in there. Ive noticed that for nearly all German fights. It's like everyone goes there and sits down in suits, more like a dinner party than attending the a fight.
