Although I agree to an extend with BCS, I don't think Fury was even that good that night. He just copied Haye's approach without the constant flopping while having more size and reach.
It wasn't some masterclass as some make it out to be, and probably not even the best performance Fury could come up with. It probably only worked because Wlad did just about nothing and had no intention to trow a punch while being the guy at the front foot.

If you know a guy got dropped hard by an overhand right against featherfists like Pajkic and Cunningham, you go all out once you're far behind in about the 8th or 9th round. He didn't! For some reason he only decided to wake up in the 12th, when it already was too late, and there weren't any judges like CJ Ross, Glenn Trowbridge or Levi Martinez in place to bail him out either, so it's not like he could expect a gift.

In my opinion it was a very bad performance from Wlad, and I mean 38 year old Ali bad.
Maybe it was fear of getting knocked out himself, but I would have srceamed in his face from round 10 on to wake the F up and knock him the F out, if I had been his trainer.

Ignore that ass hat. He hates it when Brits win. Absolutely hates it .

Comparing Wlad to the Ali of the Holmes fight tells you all you need to know about how much he knows about boxing.

Ali was was further down the hill when he fought and beat prime Foreman. He was the huge underdog in both fights. There's no excuse for a loss when you are the massive favourite to win.

Wlad was as prime as Mayweather was when he beat Pacmam.
Lewis was in far worse condition than Wlad when he beat Vitali.

I thought Lewis was a fine wine getting better with age?

Real reason Lewis suddenly became past prime was that he was in a fight with a legitimate threat for the first time since Holyfield.

And he fought like a true ATG to keep his belts. Thats what separates Lewis from WK. One is a true great. The other isn't.

Very lacking fight all the way around

Wlad did less than Fury, who did very little himself

The outcome was unexpected and would (will) be corrected if Wlad gets a rematch. He will prepare properly for Tysons reach and height advantage, this time

But Tyson did surprise me, yes; credit where it's due.

Yet amazingly it is Fury who doesn't want the rematch, he knows he got lucky due to the Wlad that turned up who was going through a lot privately.

Yep, the Holyfield of the Bowe fights deals with Lewis imo.

Wlad is obsessed about his career and obsessed about winning. gtfoh with weasel excuses.. I can say the exact same about Fury and you would then have to give MORE credit for the win if you want to go down that road.
Wlad had Fury problems. Mentally and physically. He was beaten in in every facet of the fight game. Just totally walked over and it would happen again in a rematch.

So Wlad's wife being in the clink doesn't affect his preparation in any way?

Wlad lost but HE wants the rematch, unlike Fury who has done everything in his power to not only avoid the rematch but hold up the division with his antics.

Wlad is 41 and still top of the tree.

Furys wife announced she was pregnant the morning of the fight after she had previously miscarried. That wouldn't affect Furys performance in any way? Their private lives are none of our concern.
None of these pathetic excuse would've passed for Fury if he lost. Everybody has something going on in their life.
When Wlad battered Marius Wach after his trainer died people were saying how great and mentally strong he was. He was switched on 100% for Fury. He wouldn't have fought him if he wasn't

No , Fury was ready and waiting for months. Wlad held back knowing Fury would blow his cool and relapse into madness. Wlad got exactly what he wanted.
