It was funny to see Matthysse fight Ruslan like how Garcia fought him

    Lucas would be an idiot if he fought Provodnikov the way you thought he would, he has always been a good boxer puncher and used his skills to beat Provodnikov.

    Matthysse only really started to become more and more a brawler after the Alexander and Judah loses where he then felt he needed to knock out his opponents to get the win.

    Yes, Matthysse fought Ruslan the same way Garcia fought Matthysse... he beat him in an action fight.

    If we're honest Matthysse gave Ruslan a terrible beating, Ruslan's got an incredible chin sure but it's worrying what effect those kind of punches may have down the line.

    Matthysse beat the **** out of Ruslan while smiling half the fight.... I was actually feeling horrible for Ruslan during the fight, I hope Matthysse didn't ruin him.

    Great comeback though from Ruslan in the championship rounds, but damn... Matthysse seemed to be in first gear the first few rounds and made it look easy. Garcia had a much tougher fight against Matthysse then Matthysse had against Ruslan.

    And I don't see what illusions anyone would be under for this fight, if they were paying attention. Lucas said his gameplan was to fight smart. I also don't get why anyone would expect a fighter to throw away their advantages in a fight and engage in a rock'em'sock'em slugfest with someone whos only strength and only chance is that sort of fight. What a juvenile mindset.

    Matthysse lit Ruslan up for 12 rounds, outlanded him by 130 punches. Matthysse treated Provodnikov like a punching bag I'm sad to say.

    But if anyone was really hurt in the fight it was lucas he was out on his feet in round 11 lucas never rocked rulsan or came close to it

    Who cares? That doesn't win you a fight...

    If I was a prize fighter and someone gave me the option of either beating the ever living **** out of my opponent for 12 rounds and winning or getting the ever living **** beat out of me, losing, but rocking my opponent once...I know which one id take.
