Arreola Wilder. I was about to turn it off. I'm glad that they stopped the fight. Chris is such a tough dude that you want him to be able to play with his kids when he gets old. Wilder's jab was enough. Wilder had a lot of respect for Arreola. Chris just didn't have the style to give Wilder trouble.

Wilder tried some things in there that I didn't think he had in his ****nal. Double hook, hook off the jab, hook to the body. He's going to need that against the top guys. The shotgun jab was enough.

Arreola is done at this level. He gave it his all. Time to retire.

Wilder has to get rest and get healthy. You can't train too much in this sport. You body eventually needs rest.

I thought maybe arreola was playing possum, until I seen when he got inside he had nothing on those punches. I was like damn he really is shot. you hear people say a fighters shot before there really shot alot, but in this case, arreola should never fight again.

I hate it when Wilder gets wild and starts windmilling. That's probably how he broke his hand. Plus I don't like how he goes straight bac on the ropes at times. Other than that, he was having fun and Arreola paid the price.

I think he will retire. He just seemed grateful for the final pay day tbh.

Also agree Wilder didn't look anywhere near as bad as most are making out. He was both carrying Cristobal and injured.

Clearly over trained, his team need to know his limits. Other than that, fine. If he's going to stay on top he needs multiple ways to win anyways. So what he was forced to win this way because of injuries, this is boxing. I hope it's just a mild sprain and he can get in there by the end of the year.

I'm a wilder "hater" but I think this was a fairly impressive performance. Even if it came against a faded fighter

It was one of those fights where their styles would clash and I was scared for Arreola. I'm glad he's ok. Now Wilder has to get healthy.

So. He won, and you guys knew what this fight represented when it was announced. Wilder is not a champion. He's a top 5 contender. He has no choice but to step it up in his next fight. And I expect him to.

Fighters. It's all about the fighters. They all work hard, and I just keep it real. I rarely throw shade at fighters. Except Povetkin. I make fun of him at times, but GG is the highest thing at MW...and isn't a lineal champion yet through no fault of his own. Where I fault GG, he should've forced the WBC into a #1 vs 2 to determine the next lineal champion. He reached mandatory status, and I've finally made my decision on this matter. I conclude that Canelo has ducked him, blatantly.

Wilder fought Arreola and we got what we expected. Easy to keep it real. Wilder and Kovalev get shade, lmao. They can't even hate right CST...

Arreola like you said, provided no threat at all and there was nothing on his punches either.
But I think Deontay still looked sharp regardless of the condition of Arreola.
