vitali is still good, but he looked awfully sluggish against gomez through the first 4 rounds, old vitali would have had that guy out in 5......

Haye could connect early and we will see how good haye's power vs vitali's chin is.

If this happens then NOBODY can seriously say that Haye is ducking Wlad.

Vitali will struggle a lot more with Haye seeing as he's very slow now and has turned into all but a plodder, but I still think he'll be able to draw Haye into an exchange and KO him. Vitali's chin is much better than Haye's, and Haye was very chinny even at Cruiser, so handling a 6'8" Heavyweight's power isn't particularly propitious. Also, Haye seems to leave himself very vulnerable to counter-punching by throwing very wide shots and throwing his head forward, and when he steps in to bomb Vitali he's going to eat a right hand in response. Vitali by KO

Think Haye has a punchers chance. But when is this fight likely to happen?

interesting fight, a prime vitali would destroy haye but as has been mentioned he looked surprisingly slow sluggish and doing a lot of arm punching

that said, vitali has a iron beard and always has a one punch KO chance

Vitali would KO Haye even earlier than Wladimir based on styles, chin & overall aggression. VK just beat a much better boxer in Gomez & he's an underrated couterpuncher.

VK by KO in 3 rounds or less.

Haye's inactivity would be a major factor here I feel. If this is true this would only be his 2nd fight since he demolished Enzo Maccarinelli in March 2008.

I'm also thinking the same thing. Let's hope not though.
