Something to do with Whyte and doping, no? As if "le naturel" Joshua would be at an unfair disadvantage... lol
Yea Whyte failed drug test. Fukin hate that part of boxing urghhhh Did he eat too many eggs or something?
AJ will get KO'd by pin head HW boxing is funny really because barring Fury & Usyk who will retire this year it's basically a total slug fest between punchers who don't move very well. I favour Zhang against majority of the plodding sluggers. They're all smart enough that they'd try to get to mid fight with Zhang then nail him....but them early rounds don't hold your breathe.
I remember when Whyte went from a relatively normal looking big guy to a proper horseneck in around 2016/2017.
Zhang is great entertainment. Turned pro in 2014 in his thirties and moved so slowly. Shame he's not younger.
Zhang is the first of many genetically modified sportsmen. The chinese have been experimenting with it, not long until the west does too if they arent already. You’re seeing it in the prem now with that aryan freak playing up front for Man City
Usyk and Ingemar Johansson, and probably others too at a lower level. Bowe doesn't have the distinction between of the Buster Mathis NC.
I don't think he warrants another shot at Usyk; after two fights, that both ended with Usyk winning decisively, that chapter is closed. However I don't blame Joshua for pushing for a trilogy fight with Usyk; there is something admirable about being schooled twice in succession yet still having the self-belief to believe the third time will be the charm. Ultimately I hope Joshua beats Dubois, and we see Fury-Joshua at some point in 2025.
Usyk v Joshua, Fury v Joshua are way past sell by dates for me like Brook v Khan and the next challenger to Usyk for me should be the winner of Bakole v Zhang. The division has been stunk out for years with too many pointless rematches resulting in guys like Joe Joyce edged out and aged out contention. Even though Joyce may not have been good enough to win a World Title, he deserved his chance after the Parker destruction.
You are not wrong; Fury-Joshua is well past it's sell-by date (especially in regards to Fury), yet I would still love to see it; in terms of spectacle it would possibly be the biggest fight to occur on these shores. If Usyk wins the rematch then I would like to see him bow out on a high and call it a day; this will also have the effect of dispersing the belts, giving the likes of the Zhang-Bakole winner a shot at a vacant title.
Bit different though the 3 previous fights with Pacquiao were all close controversial decisions that Marquez had an argument to winning all 3. Joshua was beaten handily by Usyk twice and people will just say Joshua beat an aging Usyk if he somehow won a 3rd fight.
