It would be good for the sport if promoters had the HWs fight more regularly

Too many guys are content to sit on their Alphabet ranking and not risk losing the '0' or their ranking and just sit and sit until they get a Mandatory position then show up to fight the Klitschkos and either put in a shitty effort or none at all and take their check and go home.

Exactly. They should be fighting each other to EARN their title shots.

There are a couple of guys I like, like Adamek and Stiverne but not enough to justify the whole division.

The HW division has plenty of talent... Just poor promotion. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that most of the talent is European... there are hardly any good American HW prospects.. Andy Ruiz and Jennings are the only good American prospects.... Mansour is too old, and Wilder is a bum.

    There's plenty of talent.

It's sad that promising fighters like Dinu, Boytsov, Platov, and Pala were/are being ruined by inactivity and/or bad promoters.

There's a big problem with promoters and a big problem with nationality.
I'm pretty sure Americans would watch jabbers and spoilers as long as they have the US nationality and keep winning their fights.
Sure they wouldn't be as popular as Tyson in the day, but they would be popular non the les. Americans favorite sport is WINNING, and when HW's start doing that again there will be an audience for it.
Winning and big name fights = popularity and money.

They sure do in the other divisions. Bernard Hopkins and Floyd Mayweather are popular in the US.
