It would be out of character for Pac to fight Floyd

And Mayweather hasn't been strategically placed?

Man get the **** outta here with this ****. Most fighters today are strategically placed.

An exception is a guy like Guzman who was faced with the type of fighter Mayweather has never faced......A TALL SLICK BOXER WITH AN EXCELLENT JAB.

And why? Because Mayweather lacks power and he would be forced to fight aggressively. And considering Mayweather's daddy took a beatin against SRL, he knows what kinda fighter not to put Floyd in with.

Imagine Vernon Forrest in with Floyd.

He woulda been knocked straight the **** out.

Thing is, Both Floyd and Manny hadn't had their respective types of fighters they are supposedly ducking to fight to begin with.

Sure you could say Manny had Guzman, but Floyd had guys like Vivian Harris, Witter, and most importantly, Vernon Forrest.

So quit bitchin like little bitches and just be thankful that this fight is takin place because you can make the same argument for Floyd that you can for Manny.

And to be honest, I DO think Funeka would give Floyd a hard fight. Floyd doesn't hit any harder than Nate Campbell, and while his boxing skills are better from a defensive perspective, I think Floyd looks very uncomfortable when he's forced to be the aggressor.

So when faced with a tall slick fighter with a great jab, and you're a shorter defensive fighter with very little power....that SPELLS trouble.

    So again, BULL**** POST.

Its not really about race but about fighting styles.

How many different fighting styles has Pacman fought throughout his career? Serious question. I'm not looking to knock Pacman but It an interesting question that I would appreciate if someone had the answer for.

And AGAIN, NAME one TALL, SLICK, BOXER WITH A GREAT JAB FLOYD HAS FACED?

    THERE ISN'T ONE.

And even if there was one, given Floyd's lack of power and discomfort when bein the aggressor, it's likely he would not have fought him.

HE AIN'T NO SRR...so stop tryin to make it like he IS.

So stop makin stupid ass threads when they are clearly ****in biased.

For real, ya'll wanna talk ****....

You say there is Guzman, Cambell, and Raheem...

How is that any different than Vivian Harris, Witter, Vernon Forrest, and Paul Williams for Mayweather?

These are all tall boxers with decent jabs.

I didn't see Mayweather tryin to call these guys out...

It's not a race thing. It's a style thing. I don't even say there were really many viable fighters Pac could have fought w/ a style other than the one's he fought. He can fight Mayweather though. Cotto was a pretty good counter-puncher, but no where near Marquez, or in ring I.Q. Mayweather has all those things but much better. Pac has excelled against one particular style. To be great, I want to see adaptability. I want to see him fight someone w/ Floyd's style. He just happens to be black, but that's not what it's about. White fighters can be slick boxers as well (like Calzaghe, Bute, ect.).

Raheem, and definately Guzman. It's debateable regarding the actual slickness of Campbell and Mosley. Now how about those tall, slick fighters with great jabs that Floyd could've fought?

    I just named them...

Vernon Forrest, Paul Williams, and to a lesser extent, Vivian Harris and Witter...

Paul Williams has been a name to the casual public for about as long as Guzman's name has been out there...

And Campbell just recently got back into the spot light when he beat Diaz...

How long are we talkin really? The past 2 years these guys have been available?

Puttin Cambell's name in there is actually kinda ridiculous considerin Pac beat DLH and Hatton instead...

Vivian Harris isn't slick. Not only that, but they put him on the Gatti undercard to setup a possible fight between he and Mayweather; Harris got knocked out. Witter isn't tall, and he was never in a position to fight Forrest. Williams was never really a viable opponent either.

Why would he fight Raheem? when Pac moved up to 135 Raheem had already lost to Freitas why would Pac fight a nobody for peanuts.
