It would be out of character for Pac to fight Floyd

So a useless thread since this can be done to any boxers' resume.

You ****ing idiot. Mayweather's opponents had similar records:

    Mosley 2-1
    Marquez 2-1
    De La Hoya 2-2
    Judah 0-1
    Mitchell 1-1
    Corley 0-1

Hatton was undefeated, but Mayweather made him fight at 147 where he had only fought once and looked bad against Collazo. Pac fought him at 140 where he was undefeated and looked better than ever the fight before against the number one contender Malignaggi.

Mayweather also weighed-in 2lbs over the 144 limit against a blown-up lightweight in Marquez, and refused to lose the weight. That nullifies that win as meaningless.

Mosley also had to agree to all Mayweather's demands and looked like ****, making you wonder if it was the extensive blood testing which took something out of him (no, I do not mean the PEDs)

The other fighters Mayweather fought on good streaks were C-D level and tailor made for him - Baldomir, Gatti, Bruseles

He was a big bookies favorite in every single fight he had from 140 up

Pacquaio went from 130-147 in his past few fights, and fought top quality opposition each time. If you had said he would fight Marquez, DLH, Hatton, Cotto in the span of 5 fights a couple years back the majority would have him 0 and 4 in those fights.

You haters are some ****ing pieces of work to criticise the man for those great victories

In a year from now, another TS will start a thread adding mayweather in that list. Just like the year before when people thought Cotto is too much for Pac (saying Cotto outboxed Mosley).

It's not black fighters that pacq has been steered around. It's african americans.

We have the greatest tradition in boxing, yet folks around here say it's racist for us to have pride in it,while praising Emanuel as "the mexicutioner".
The pride of the phillipines, they say.
Tell him to fight an african american I say, they call me racist.
Emmanuel just had the Sugar Ray Robinson award handed to him by Joe Frazier!,they say,two african americans I say,you are racist they shout.

Well if this was asia, and floyd was a black man, doing kung fu,beating up mexicans and accepting Bruce Lee awards for it.And the asians said,"fight an asian",well I wouldn't call them racist,I would think they had a point.Since pacq is asian I would hope his fans understand the analogy. But of course most of them will just call me racist again.

I hope that Arum and Roach don't get in the way of this fight because it isn't really pacq or floyd so much as them. But if they don't fight, pacq should fight his first african american anyway. He can defend his 140 title against bradley or just fight mosley or judah to can the topic.Anyway,i guess being african american and having pride in your ethnic group's boxing tradition makes you racist around here. But that same pride is cool if you're irish or mexican or peurto rican or phillipino.

Your wrong Guzman was trying to get the Pacquaio fight from 122-135, he was also cleaning house of the top prospects at 130, while Roach admitted Guzman was a bad stylistic match up for Pac

simple answer to that criticism is: the divisions and the era he's in that division is dominated by non-blacks. What will he do avoid - avoid fighting barrera , marquez and morales and fight an unknown black fighter? Now that he's in higher weights where black fighters are more involved, he just fought a decent african black chamption (Clottey), which he dominate 12 rounds to none.

African americans are everyone's favorite fighters ever. From robinsoon and johnson to ali. It's steeped in history and they are the same source for lebron or jordan.Slavery isn't cool but we make everyone pay for it through inherited stength that isn't so natural in africa.we are distinct not just amongst africans but among all the ethnicities.I just want manny to get past it or go head to head. That is legacy because it would look strange in retrospect, especially at 140 where people are waiting and the belt for some unknown reason hasn't been stripped.

I know but you don't get it do you. Back to your point - Clottey just rampaged all African American (i.e. Judah) where he farmed 1/3 of his fight wins (bar mosley and fmj left).

Now let's discuss mosley and fmj (if you have other names in 147 then bring it up), as i can't think of any other fighter in your so called category (African American lol) that will fit. I don't think you yourself think Mosley will beat Pac after you saw Mosley's fight with FMJ and after you saw how Pac beat Cotto/Clottey. As for FMJ, bleh he doesn't want a piece of Pac.

There's no money in 140 "yet" (give it 2 years as alexander, bradley, maidana, khan are still green and unpopular "for now"). Period. Same as there's no money fighting guzman 5 years ago.

Maayweather was also coming down in weight to fight Hatton as well as Hatton coming in around 150 as a JWW, people often overlook that.

Hatton looked good in the fight against Malignaggi because he had zero punching power, look at his fight before that where he was out on his feet against Lazcano and was saved by the referee.

Hatton's punch resistance went down hill after Mayweather KO'd him so lets not make out he beat a prime Hatton who was never that good at his best anyway.

lol my ass!!With that communist girl as your avatar.
Floyd is going to play with pacq, but so would zab or berto.
As far as Clottey i never liked that ugly predator lookin motherfuqr. He never fought as little as he did in that fight either and looked so unscathed after a fight.
Me no trust Bob Arum in-fights,very fishy.
