I think Roy would have won by KO but I also think the fight would have been even more competitive than it was last week. I actually think that fight would have been absolutely brutal, but Tito definitely wouldn't have held up.

A prime Jones at 168 could knock Tito out in one minute if he wanted to. The fact that an old, 170 pound Tito had a semi-competitive fight with him really says a lot about how shot Roy is.

Can't see it. Would have been less competitive. Jones was flat footed all night. His style was different. Trinidad didn't employ a different style.

The prime version of Roy Jones would have dominated Trinidad from the opening bell and knocked him out.

    Stupid people.

You assume that Roy has regressed and Trinidad hasn't?

:-(. Roy has regressed a great deal more than Tito. Roy was also not shut out twice in his prime.

Roy vs Tito prime for prime would be brutal and onesided.

    Roy KO.

What are you talking about , Roy has alway has and alway will be , bigger , faster and stronger then Tito.

This fight would have been the same 6 years ago , Roy started his career at 160 , tito started his at 147..
Roy is the bigger more talented fighter .

If tito makes it past 3 against a prime Jones I'd be extremly surprised. That's not a knock on Tito but it's just a horrible style matchup and a big size advantage for Roy.

everytime roy hit him it looked like it hurt tito. but roy cant throw 10 punch combos any more.

    prime for prime

roy would have knocked him out in 1 or 2 rounds

We should not discount the possibility that, even if they fought 6 or 7 years ago, the fight would have turned out exactly as it did lat Jan 19.

I mean Tito pressing but doing no damage on the buch bigger Jones. Jones hurting Tito but not finishing (typical relutant Roy).
