Giuseppe 'Bepi' Ros will take on American Mac Foster in Zurich, Switzerland on
December 26, 1971.

The Cliff of the Piave is 30-7-0 with 19 Knock-outs. Ros has a #24 World Ranking,
and is a 4-1 underdog for his bout with the American.

Ros and Foster will be the highlight undercard bout, for the Muhammad Ali and
Jurgen Blin match.

Bepi, the 3-time Italian Heavyweight Champion will be facing the
#6 World Ranked Heavyweight. Foster, 27-1-0 with 27 Knock-outs is
regarded as one of the heaviest punchers in boxing today.

Ros, now 29 years-old, will begin hard training for this bout immediately.
He has been criticized for his conditioning in recent years, and did not
perform well when losing a decision to Dante Cane several months ago.

Bepi who has won 12 of his last 14 bouts, is still regarded as one of Europe's
Top Heavyweights.
