How?? He is 6'2, a cm or two shorter than Usyk. This man, at 6'2, does not outweigh the 6'6 AJ by 10lbs... !!!! He does not weigh roughly what the 6'8 Fury did against Wilder (256lbs). !!!! Balogun did not look ~240 either. What is going on, does the man have supernaturally heavy bones? Is that why he was scouted out so early?
Fury was equally chubby if not chubbier, with 6 inches of height on him, and only came in 2lb heavier.
Some guys are way heavier than they look, Moses is one of them. And he's clearly carrying some excess fat.
Itauma has some pretty bulky legs and he isn't chiseled. 250+ isn't far fetched. Itauma is huge compared to a regular guy
Fury have stick legs, the only person (maybe in the world) that have skinnier legs that Fury is Wilder. Fury also lack muscles, Fury is one of those ppl that look like a bag of sh*t but is actually a high level athlete, Fury is one of a kind and defy everything we know about athletes.
He weight almost 15 kg more than Alexander Povetkin who got similar height. He is probably litlle lazy with diet and being 100% pro. If it will be problem? No idea. On this level not but on top? Can be problem
It ain't a body building contest. Larry Holmes wasn't exactly an underwear model. And Joshua was/is. Let's wait till he's taken to deep waters and see how his gas tank really is. A lot of it has to do with how relaxed he can stay through the rounds. James Toney comes to mind as a fighter who didn't waste a calorie of energy in the ring.
Actually, he looked slimmer this fight. Not quite lean, but like most of the chub had been burned off. As to his weight, some guys weigh much more than what you'd think. Part of it is having thick legs, the other part is having thick bones, dense muscles, etc. Look at Mike Tyson back in the day. Immediately post-prison, he had ripped abs at 225lbs -- for guy who is probably not even 5'10'! Moses is probably pure fast twitch muscle, which I'm guessing is the more dense kind.
That’s it, listen to Seamus - it’s why you freak out in your first few spars, first few fights etc and feel like you ran miles, boxing “endurance” isn’t sports specific it’s the mind, it’s why marathon runners can flop dead after a spar from “gassing”
