https://www.heavyweightboxing.com/post/moses-itauma-nelson-hysa-manchester#:~:text=The bout will take place, defeat in his professional career.&text=At just 19 years old,the future of heavyweight boxing.

I don't know about step up from McKean. Incredibly empty (despite unbeaten) record for someone that is 21-0 with 19 KO's and 23rd on Boxrec. I can't even say that Hysa is yet a gatekeeper from a good journeyman looking at his record, but it is not a bad fight for Itauma IMO at this stage TBH.

For me, it is super important that Itauma doesn't sell himself out. Instead - Itauma needs to build up his reputation gradually over time, developing as a boxer. Thus, gaining and earning the respect of the people instead of taking the shortcut.

Edit - Just looked at Hysa's amateur record, he made his amateur debut in 2000, but didn't make his pro debut until 2022 at 38!

...who is literally TWICE his age. Hysa's first amateur match was in 2000, 4 years before Moses was born.

Which would make it doubly hilarious if he knocks Itauma the **** out.

This dude is clearly a puncher, Itaumas chin might be tested here.

Here's Hysa against what appears to be a tubby 65 year old with gammy knees, but he's a southpaw! So he's got the practice in to fight Itauma!

Hopefully. This Hysa dude knocks out all the guys he fights within 2-3 rounds.

Itauma might try and box him though, we'll see.

Hysa looks powerful but pretty damn slow. Itauma's speed both hand and foot will be too much for Hysa, would like to see Hysa test Itauma's chin though.

Hysa is awful. He is the type of opponent that David Haye faced in his first couple of fights after comeback - incredibly padded record. And Hysa couldn't even stop 49-years-old Danny Williams who was so shot that he was stopped be 53-years-old 6 years earlier, when he was 43 himself. So Hysa might not even have a decent power despite high KO%. These type of fights give absolutely nothing to Itauma who should be fighting some durable veterans instead, somebody like Franklin or Guidry at least

Good test for Itauma, Hysa just might be the best Albanian heavyweight since Sefer Seferi.

He reminds me a bit of Hughie Fury.

Itauma brutally retires Hysa by stoppage in the first three rounds...

This is not a matched means tested fight. It's just to get him on the card, and keep active. They probably couldn't find a decent fight this time, but it's gotta be top 20 opponent next

They should have just replaced him with Okolie, I have no doubt he would have destroyed Riakporhe...

This is a crap fight. Yes he can punch but Itauma will be way faster. And it's not as if the Albanian has any experience at the top level.

Pretty pointless easy win for Itauma.

    I'm disappointed Fwank.

Itauma would learn so much more from fighting an awkard fighter like Franklin.

Wait, hes undefeated? But so is Itauma!
When neither guy knows how to loose then how do we pick the winner? How could either man win???
