We have all seen how the likes of Ben Whittaker and Josh Kelly did when they stepped up and fought someone who punches back.

I will reserve my judgment here until Itauma steps up.

He has been well marketed but it’s difficult to BS people when we know the level of his opponents is pitifully weak.

Thing is he's not even fighting. If he does fight on the Josh Taylor card end of May that will be 6 months sitting about doing nothing. Tyson fought every month when he was coming up. Yeah he's young but he'll stagnate if he's not more active.

It´s very rare that Brits go for the British heavyweight title in less than 3 years as a pro. Itauma is being brought along just nicely, and they did take a significant step up in class last time out against Demsey McKean.
But yea, it´s time that he goes for the British title and really tests himself.

If they want to run Ituama through a bunch of cab drivers and tomato cans, fine, but have him fight them non-stop like a young Tyson did. Fight 6x a year, be in camp the entire year.

Ituama will knock this guy out in 1-2 rounds.

This. He needs rounds, not sitting around doing nothing for 6 months. He's fought 1 round in 9 months.

yeah I’m getting a little worried about his management. It’s too early to tell exactly how high his ceiling is, but he seems like a version of Dubois with even quicker hands and even more power — seems like he’s got the best combo of speed and power since Mike Tyson. And they’re not keeping him active! What’s going on? Ugh.
