Hrgovic is way more risky than Whyte since there’s no guarantee Itauma would get rid of him meaning it would go 10 rounds or 12 if it’s scheduled for that. Itauma could definitely fade deep in a fight at this stage. He’s not got the experience yet. At least with Whyte he can be stopped at any time.

He won’t the payday is too big which is the only reason why he’s taking the fight. Remember Lopez vs Haney was supposed to be the original main event. This is a cash-out for Whyte.

Itauma was never hit by a decent punch in his entire pro career, so his chin is a big question.

Whyte's left hook could end the fight if he somehow lands. But today's Whyte is clearly well past his prime so it seems unlikely. Whyte didn't look good in his recent matches.

Whyte was lucky to get a decision against Franklin several years ago, and already looked washed against Fury. I'll go for the green fighter over the utterly shot one.

Hrgovic is younger, bigger and much better using his size than Whyte. Also he got iron chin- he probably would not go down easy after few shoots. Whyte is 37 years old and he was koed hard in past few time. Also he got few hard fight.
Maybe his left hook is stronger than Hrgovic shoot but he might not have many opportunites to catch him when he go sleep quick.

From now on until august, all of Itaumas combo s thrown in training ends with an uppercut...

Agreed, Hysa can crack a bit but, he's far too upright and carries a low guard which is just asking for trouble from Itauma, it would go similar to the Mckean fight.

At least with Whyte, we've got someone with a world level resume, has seen pretty much every style going and carries serious artillery in that left hook and isn't called the 'Body Snatcher' for nothing.

I doubt he's got enough left to seriously trouble Itauma but, if he does land that much vaunted left hook, we'll definitely find out whether or not Itauma has a stout enough beard for the game.

Very bad idea for Whyte. He must be getting well paid. I’m not even that sold on Itauma yet but he takes out Whyte whenever he wants to.

Promotors better have a solid "Plan B" for there is a good chance Whyte will pull out.

Let's hope Whyte times his cycles right this time and doesn't pull out.
