Itauma is on a strange path. They marketed him as someone who wanted to break Mike Tyson's record, and now he's fighting every four months against guys who barely scrape into the top 50. Gassiev, Wallin and Hrgovic are all good names they could match him with. Nobody would blame his team for taking it slow, given that he still needs the experience, but don't sell him as the next youngest HW champion in history and then have him taking out cannon fodder three times a year.

Sure... Fight all styles, but that's only as useful as fighting those styles at that level.

Yes, you learn something about those styles at higher levels too... But only loosely, given you're dealing with probably more mistakes and lesser ability to make that style work against you.

As always, step up to higher levels and you'll find out how well you can adjust... Bum Bashing only teaches so much, and only enables so much of a step up.

The next logical step would be to try and get Kevin Lerena back to heavyweight as it's a quite marketable fight after he dropped Dubois three times after hitting him on his soft brain I mean head and yes he was discombobulated as there's zero proof it had anything to do with a sore ankle or whatever.

He's also decent but small and limited so should still win. Jermaine Franklin if you want to stick with Orthodox.

It's grifting. Notice what they do. They associate his name with an big name, but never actually beat the big name's record or actually fight the big name. it's a con and people keep falling over it.

Itauma is being carefully managed, he is too young and there is no need to rush, Balogun will be just a slight obstacle and the real thing for Itauma is yet to come...
