Itauma Vs Franklin delayed till March 28

I'm absolutely convinced Itauma is chinny. No team that confident in their protege does stuff like this and avoids bouts with other punchers so blatantly.

 

I wish boxing would go back to the old days.

Tyson at Itauma's age was having 28 fights in under 2 years including three 10 round fights during this period.

Tyson fought a tough 10 rounder vs Tillis and then was back in the ring 17 days later going 10 rounds again.

Itauma has had a combined 4 rounds in over a year boxing is a joke now that's why I don't watch it religiously anymore.

 

This is becoming quite tiresome...

He's been touted as the best prospect since Mike Tyson, yet he ducked Frank Sanchez and postpones a bout with Franklin

I remember when Itauma first went professional and he claimed he wanted to fight as often as Tyson, which would be around 12-14 times per year.

Year 1: 7 fights
Year 2: 4 fights
Year 3: 2 fights

The lad is taking the ****.

The worst thing about this is that all the undercard boxers who were preparing for their fights will now need to wait for more than 2 months. This is not fair to Hutchinson, Taylor and all the others.

When they put Itauma in against whyte as a headline PPV I knew this was gonna be a problem. They aren't going to be going back to fighting regular journeymen, his promoter wants him to be a main event ppv star RIGHT NOW. So now he's going to be stuck on that type of schedule more than likely. Though it would of been more beneficial to everyone had he just been destroying 25 guys in the last couple of years and had some tough journeymen type along the way to give him rounds and experience.
