    Thoughts?
He obviously still packs power but he looked like he is the age of Pulev lol

Still Itauma vs Gassiev is more interesting fight than Itauma vs Pulev

That is if he doesn't touch those fragile Itauma whiskers first. I mean, really... what was more impressive? TKOing a still standing Whyte who's been KO'd cold thrice, or sparking Pulev, who's never been one punch KO'd before? Because I hate break it to you, but... Gassiev would sleep everyone Itauma has.

It’s probably the next fight isn’t it? Itauma vs pulev should not have even been thought of as a sanctionable fight. I suspect Itauma might just be too fast for gassiev, but if gassiev lands would Itauma be able to take it and shake it off?

Sorry for nitpicking, but didn't Klitschko KO him with the identical left hook?

Gassiev is not impressive, he just beat a 44 year old man, Itauma would tear him apart...

Yes, and that's exactly why I said this...
But he only stayed down, after the fourth time that Wlad dropped him. Not the first. Which I probably should've clarified.

Itauma isn't impressive, all he's done is KO shot old fighters too. Pulev is better than anyone Itauma has on his resume, and yes.. even the current version.

I agree with you, but Wallin beat Gassiev and that says something...

You mean the same guy that arguably had a draw with Fury and that AJ couldn't put down? Sure, Chisora beat him, but so what... Chisora also beat Joyce and Pulev. Wallin isn't great, but he'd still give several ranked fighters issues.

He should do because Gassiev is a shell of his former self. But he would be extremely wary of that left hook and with good reason because if he got caught clean with it like Pulev did the back of his head would be bouncing off the canvas too and that's not a knock on him because it would have the same effect on the vast vast majority of HWs

I don't think they will match Itauma with a 32 year old ex-cruiserweight champion.

Well, maybe not, but... Itauma didn't either.
