Pac's "senior circuit" since the Floyd loss has been Bradley, Vargas, Matthysse, Horn, Broner, and Thurman.

For a lot of guys, that's a career's worth of names. Pretty sure Porter is only the second Ring rated top 10 welter that Spence has fought, come to think of it. For Pac, that's the retirement tour where many fans simply don't take him all that seriously anymore.

I said Loma would beat Rigo he was old and coming up in weight 2 classes it was an easy fight to predict. I can admit I picked Spence to stop Mikey but so did most people. I was surprised in with the way he dealt with Mikey and so were most.

I'D LIKE SOMEONE TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION FOR ME SERIOUSLY..................
Is Canelo really the cowardly chicken his own Mexican fans called him when he ducked GGG & meekly handed over the bogus Wbc belt? Is he the ped's abuser those same fans named MOONELO after he was busted
    popping dirty for clenbuterol?
OR is he the pansy puppet that allows that freak Fishnets to present him to us as being a cheating coward ??
Think if he was really a MAN he'd be only too willing to fight GGG on a level playing field with no NSAC and vegas corruption to shut people like me up NO??????

The fight been signed. Just hasn't been announced yet. Spence already said the fight will be sometime in September. So u should eat ur words. Besides, Spence been trying to fight Porter for almost 2 years now. Porter been ducking that wreck for a minute now.

Pac is smart. He wanted no parts of Spence. He could have been fighting Spence instead of Thurman. When Spence called him in the ring, Pac body language and facial expression said it all. Pac was like, yeah, why not. Instead of yes, let's make the fight! That's what he usually say when he want a fight. Then next we hear him calling out Thurman after Thurman struggled in his come back fight. Clearly he wanted no parts of Spence.

He is smart and has no reason to be in the ring with Spence or Crawford at this stage of his career although after watching Mikey Garcia come up two weight classes and go the distance I think Pacquiao would give a good account of himself, win or lose. . He has fought and beat much bigger names than Errol Spence and needs to wind down and bring his career to a close. Thurman is a huge risk but with Pacquiao's speed and foot work he should cruise to a unanimous decision. Once Pacquiao beats Thurman people will down play the victory and make the claim that Thurman was never really that good anyway and was coming off of an injury, meanwhile this will be one of Pacquiao's biggest wins of his career IMO if he is able to pull it off ,just due to Thurman's status and Manny's age.

I agree with most of what u said, but Pac at this stage would take some damage, getting stopped or Freedie roach throwing in the tower. Prime Pac is a different story. However, Pac didn't really face any big body punchers in his prime. I think Cotto may have been the biggest body puncher, but clearly didn't attack Pac's body in their fight. Now when i say body puncher, I mean a relentless body punch attacker like Spence. I always felt that was key to beating a prime Pac. Attacking his body!

You may be right, Spence could possibly overwhelm him with offense prompting a stoppage but it is somewhat alarming that Garcia moved up two weight classes and was able to hang in there for 12 rounds. I thought for sure Spence would make a statement and finish Garcia at some point in the fight although he did put on a masterful boxing performance. Pacquiao was so fast in his prime that I think it made other fighters have second thoughts about going to the body.

Again u are right my friend. The speed was killer, and didn't really give opponents a chance. U would have had to have speed and timing to deal with him. That's why i would have loved to see Pac vs Mayweather in there prime. I do think the game plan for Cotto was to attack the body, but Cotto was getting hit to much to keep attempting body shots. He should have fought more on the inside with Pac than the outside. Plus that south paw stance made it more difficult for Cotto to deal with. Plus it didn't help that Cotto was circling into Pac's strong hand instead of his right hand. I also think by Spence being southpaw would cause more problems for Pac. Pac hasn't fought many southpaws. Matter of fact, i don't think any top fighters Pac fought were southpaws.

I think Spence was more hell bent on proving people and Garcia that he could out box him. When he first turned it up in the 9th round. He didn't seem to have the same steam i'm accustomed to seeing him have. I believe he was really weight drained after cutting from 170 to 147. He's actually almost looking as thick as he was before the Garcia fight now. He better start cutting weight now, cause Porter is going to have way more energy than Garica this coming fight. I think he will be more ready for this fight against Porter though. He mentioned that after the garcia fight that he didn't have his usual energy. SO i definitely believe that extreme weight cut affected him.

Spence has physical advantages over Pacquiao because he's a natural Welterweight. Besides, Spence is younger and hungrier than Pac. Pacquiao knows that if he fights Spence he will get his ass kicked.
