It's a little surprising how much hate Andre Ward gets here.

Newsflash for you Euros, in America Ward is seen as a Black man.:deal The hate Ward gets is ridiculous the guy is one of the most complete fighters in the game. Not to mention he just won the Super 6 fighting and beating the best in the world.

 

What does it matter if Ward is black or white? It's legit to debate fighters no mather their heritage, right? Whats wrong with pointing out that Ward headbutted Kesslers skull in? After all, he did.

The hate Ward gets is fairly light and respectful in comparasion to other high profile fighters, like Floyd or Wlad.

 

But you admit that Ward change since the S6 . I think he look jealous of other boxers popularity, FFS he just won the fighter of the year award he should stick with who he his.

I'm maybe wrong but that's how i feel. It's probably not all his words coming from his camp though

 

I didn't bring it up just giving you the truth.:deal With that said Ward boxed Kessler's sox off that night. Kessler had no answer for Ward and he couldn't adjust. Ward is just a bad match up for Kessler period and would beat him 9/10 times.

 

The camp and the fighter are two diffrent things ..Just look at the build to to Ward Froch ,it was Ward's trainer talking the most ..I really beleive he is a humble guy ..But eventually success goes to everyone's head ..I just hope he stays grounded and humble ..The sport DOESN'T NEED ANOTHER FLOYD MAYWEATHER :good

To say Ward didn't just swerve Bute, and most recently Dirrell, would be a lie. . .

He wanted to rematch Kessler, YET he didn't want to go to Denmark to do it, DESPITE the fact that Kessler fought him in his backyard. . .

That's just not acceptable to me, as a boxing fan first. . . I'm going to call him out on waht I think is poosy maneuvering. . . Doesn't mean I still don't think he's class. . .

Im also going to point out that I don't like how much he holds. . .

 

I agree. And as a former Kessler fan I am embarassed about how he ducked a rematch even though Ward was eager to get it on. It's pretty week of "The Viking Worrior" to call Wards victory hallow and then escape the division and figth "Angry Eyebrows" :verysad

 

Kessler just wanted the fight to be in Denmark. . . Ward declined. . . SOUnds fair to me - you go to his backyard once, and then you go to the other guys backyard? Right?

ALso, Kessler wanted a fight with Cloud, but Cloud swerved him.

 

So he ducked Dirrel too ? Was it his fault that Dirrell bowed out the S6 ? NO ?

Was it Ward's fault Bute was left out the S6 NO ?

How is the guy who fought the best at super middle ducking the guy who is now finally stepping up ..I never understood that logic ..

Either way, you can't say Kessler "ducked" Ward, when Ward refused to go fight Kessler. .

ANd WHY THE HELL is Ward calling out Kessler to fight, when he's got BUTE wanting to fight him?! LOL. . . Straight SSSWERVED!

 

Uhh, because Bute is the second best fighter, and undefeated. . . WHy is he worried about the path BUte took? You never seen Froch bytching and whining about other guys resumes he's fought? NO, like a true champion, he has just fought the best form 2008, till present. . .


Look, Ward just wants to get the most money possible, the easiest way possible. . . Understandable, I guess. . .

i probably mixed Hunter and Ward words. I found that respectful boxer are refreshig compare to the PBF and Chisora of the boxing world. I know it's harder to promote fight when your humble and respectful but this sport had enough black eyes in the last couples of years , it's time to bring back some respect in the game and to try to keep the fans before thinking to add new one!

 

Ward is Black. end of discussion. he has black kids and a black wife and hes from Oakland. what more proof do u need?
