It's a shame Hughie Fury has been overshadowed by this weekend's boxing...

Sam Sexton is C-level but it's the manner in which Hughie took him out that was impressive. People have always criticised his lack of power. Well he is only 23 and his power is coming in now. He stunned Sexton through the gloves in the run up to the first KD and that short right finisher and sidestep was expert level, just like Wilder's KO of Szpilka (obviously less power and less emphatic).

Was such a fluid performance in the ring from Fury. Awesome movement, double, triple jabs galore. Didn't tire and devastating finish. No one can move in the HW division like Hughie and Tyson. The swift triple jabs, feet shuffle, lean back and sidestep. It's brilliant to watch.

Hughie has been mocked since Parker largely because of Fat Mick's "Shades of Ali" remark. He's ready for another title shot campaign IMO. He'll be hard to match because he's so awkward but I can't wait for his next fight now.

Well done Peter, Hughie and Fat Mick.

Hughie now solidly moved into the top 10 hardest HW punchers list.

I don't think he achieved something big in beating Sexton...

Sexton is domestic C level at best and was already brutally knocked out far heavier by Pricey.

Hugie needs to fight Pricey to gain credibility. That would be a top fight!

Rate fury highly but needs to start thinking about Joyce or price now. No point going in with Joshua or wilder just yet. Will just be the same thing that happened against parker but only worse. They need to get him solid experience. And stop thinking about jumping in the top ten guys for now. Got time on his side.

Didn ,t think he was all that convincing the first couple of rounds tbh. Sexton caused him one or two problems. Very good finish tho...rate him highly. Needs experience. Strengthen up that body a bit as well. Learn when to attack and when to defend. Done it well last night...could still be a different story against the top of the divisio n tho.

Newly crowned British champ Hughie "Big Cat" Fury v newly crowned Commonwealth champ Joe "Jockstrap" Joyce.

Good fight. Each has something the other should want.

Let's not have any more of this nonsense about Jockstrap not having paid his dues. Anyone who makes the Olympic final is fair game from the moment they set foot in a professional boxing ring.

The winner of the fight goes into the top 10 for real (or is very close to it).

Beyond the titles, the fight gives the winner something else they should want - credibility as a viable heavyweight contender.

    Let's get it on.

That was a good KO, nice counter straight down the pipe. Shades of Wladimir Klitschko.
