He was a mean boxer who had serious contempt for the Argentinean accent-demeanor, you see this clearly by the joy he had busting Maidana's uncle ear and before that sabotaging Sergio Martinez career, he must have mistaken Miguel Cotto for an Argentinan or it could be the excessive kissing, he also gave him the beatdown of a lifetime, truly the only man to have Floyd Mayweather Shook.

The Stain is the shallow-affect crying stint he did with his GF on TV, that parts needs to be deleted from boxing fans minds as soon as memory omission is made legal.

No he wasn’t, you don’t mix and beat world class fighters if your bang average.

Pressure fighters in Maidana an Castillo gave Floyd his hardest fights, debatable wins for fluid. Margo was stronger tougher and more relentless also bigger than both. Floyds most blatant duck, he knew he didn’t match up well with Margo

If you drain down 15lbs and wrap your hands in gauze and plaster you can.

What was there to appreciate about getting totally destroyed and humiliated by Cotto? You might be the only person in the world who started appreciating him more after getting wrecked in the Cotto rematch. That rematch was verification of the cheat, it was sweet justice for Cotto. It showed that when Margacheato couldn't fight with bricks in his gloves, he was nothing more than a punching bag with limited skill.

The reason Floyd had trouble with Maidana was because he was out of shape and didn't take him seriously enough. The version of Floyd who fought Maidana would have gotten his ass handed to him by Canelo. Floyd was only able to eek out a decision vs Canelo by draining him and getting in the absolute best shape of his life. Styles do make fights, but in Floyd's case his success vs Maidana, Canelo and Pacquiao had to do more with how in shape he was and the kind of shape his opponents were in rather than styles.

This part is true, Margarito was a stylistic nightmare for Mayweather. The guy was a monster he would have been a very tough fight for Floyd.

Well in terms of having a fighter's mindset, being willing to fight anyone vs guys who pick and choose their opponents or are limited by who they fight due to their promoters, sure, Margarito certainly did have the fighting spirit to fight anyone. But at the same time there was nothing special about Margarito. He's your typical boogeyman.

So your saying he’s a 162 lb fighter George ? Listen to CJ an you’ll get educated on the subject instead of running with the sheep. Also if a fighter can fight hard and get stronger as the fight goes longer that tells me an everyone else that’s an acceptable weight(147) for him to be at. Was he vulnerable at 147 ? Did he gas ? No...The two biggest signs a fighter is struggling at the weight

Boogeyman ? He was world champ, beat other world champs, that’s not a boogeyman.

So if you’re being non bias you recognize that Cotto was definitely fading late in the rematch an getting hit before the red stopped the fight. Cotto specifically aimed for an eye that was severely damaged by Pacquiao which Tiny shouldn’t have been cleared to fight again..

Floyd was definitely in shape for the maidana fight he just didn’t expect the relentless pressure let’s be Maidana didn’t let Floyd control the pace.. I always felt Floyd would have UD 9-3/8-4 Pac since 2009.. Canelo was not weight drained he fought he wrong style simple and plain.. Tony didn’t have exceptional skills but he has exceptional stamina and work rate and let’s be honest Floyd didn’t wanna fight him, Pac didn’t before the Shane defeat, He made Cotto quit( All guys are much better than he is but).. And I’m saying the difference between “boogeymen” in his era was they all fought each other instead of fighting soft touches ex( Steve Rolls, Dennis Hogan, Luke Keeler, shot Kell Brook)

He was a middleweight vs Williams and Mosley, and a super middleweight vs Pacquiao.

Dunno. I thought he was pretty beast in his prime. By the time he reached Cotto he was a stringy fighter. When he was younger he was much thicker and stronger at 147.

Canelo was drained. Have you seen Canelo commentate over the Trout fight? He talks about how hard making the weight used to be and that he ended up sitting on the ropes and taking long breaks because of how tired he’d up on fight night. Mayweather brought him 2lb’s under that. Canelo was competing with Mayweather early. Most people have noted his stamina had had a huge leap ever since he’s moved from 154.
Anyway. Just my impression. Here’s the vid if you want. Interesting watch if anything.
