So it’s water. Every fighter puts weight on after the weigh in George, it’s proved nothing. Bernard Hopkins use to come in a light heavy from 160, it means nothing

Only morons think that! I saw how proud all the the great Mexican fighters like Julio Cesar, Jorge Arce, Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik “El Terrible“ Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez were of Canelo after he dealt with Lil G in the rematch. Rightly so.

Don't buy into this bull**** narrative. It was nothing, and no Margarito wasn't trying to cheat Mosley (maybe his trainer was), much less actually cheat Cotto. The whole thing is far more complicated than the Cotto fanboys are willing to let on. Do a deep dive and come to your own conclusions. If anything it was HBO that revived this contrived narrative to hard sell the revenge storyline, they barely said a damn thing about it in he lead up to the Pacquiao match.

He had Cotto black and blue by the end of the rematch, he broke Pac's ribs, and was mounting a comeback against The Punisher. The only one that truly kicked his ass was Mosley, and let's be perfectly honest. He was kind of REALLY distracted for that one.

Really, did he not offer to fight tony? Remember, Floyd told Arum get Cotto, Hatton, Oscar and Bob Said no and that was that Floyd bought his Contract out and that was that.

Wrong, Mosley himself loved Face first Mexicans. Remember, he ended that guys career in Sparring. The guys name slips me at the moment.

Dpo your homework, he was due to fight him in the Summer of 2006 until Bob reneged on his contract so Floyd bought himself out and got Oscar Instead.

Remember, Arum said Floyd was down to take the fight with Tony but he reneged on an agreement with Floyd and the rest is history.

Strange how Floyd was down to fight him, but Arum reneged on deals with Hatton, Cotto, Oscar. Just look up lying bobs own words.

Will not doubt Bob Arum did this to protect Floyd Mayweather. Avoiding Antonio Margarito will not dent Floyd Mayweather legacy, the same way the boxing Gods gave Sugar Ray Robinson a pass for avoiding Charles Burley.

It will always be brought up, whenever someone must pinpoint the flaws in Floyd Mayweather career. If Floyd Mayweather fights Antonio Margarito (still a very high risk high reward fight), it will look much better on Floyd Mayweather record, the problem is that Antonio Margarito might be motivated and even in his declined state can still upset an inactive Floyd Mayweather. So its just easier to accept the imperfection as part of Floyd Mayweather (human nature). Future Semi-Auto boxers will be flawless and those human flaws will be more valuable for nostalgic folks who will secretly miss the imperfection of the organic humans

I definitely remember that but it wasn’t like Floyd was in a rush to fight him either.. Like I said I think Floyd would have won but it would have taxed him physically like Pacquiao

Yeah, styles make fights, Mosley would have probably outpointed him anyway, but his lack of focus certainly didn't help did it?
