Could possibly be two of the most talented boxers squaring off...

If there is issues with Loma-Linares getting done (dead deal per Dan Rafael)

Imagine how a negotiation with Bob/Mikey would go? Both hate each other

    Its nothing against Mikey/Loma

Both are warriors who would box anyone
    ..

But politics of boxing. Not like its a huge $$$ making bout to overcome the barriers

    Most likely we get

    Mikey vs Linares

Mikey then moves to 140 permanently

    Loma vs Beltran

    Loma vs Pedraza

    Bummer

The old fart is going to let this fight marinate to the point that it will have mold when served.

It really is a dream fight and it's a shame that it doesn't look like it's gonna happen. It's too bad because unlike most Showtime fighters Mikey has made it clear that he's a free agent and I think with the right offer he would be willing to fight on HBO if that's what it would take to make the fight happen. The TR ESPN deal is another hurdle because I don't even think Arum wants his fighters to fight on HBO at this point and I just don't see Mikey fighting on ESPN under the TR banner. I would say there might be chance that the fight could happen down the road but I just think Mikey is going to outgrow 135 maybe even 140 in a few years and the weight discrepancy could end up being too great. Mikey would provide a great challenge to Lomachenko and I think we'd all love to see it.

It really is a shame. Especially when you consider Mikey's resume. He needs to step it up. Not sure why he dragging his career.

Too much business. It was good when the promoters were making the deals and the fighters fought. I'm a bigger fan of promoters than fighters anyway. They get all the money without the TBI. Bob Arum is 92 and is sharp, Don King is 90 and is still out here hustling, where are all those fighters from the past? Somewhere complaining about being robbed, being an addict who needed all of his indiscretions cleaned up by his past promoter at one point or a narcissistic who can't stop running around Vegas seeking attention.
Loma's fights are already pre-determine anyway, just like Manny's and Crawford's are.

I think it happens. If Mikey wants it. It doesn’t really seem like he wants to fight Loma. He’s been call out Spence and actually saying he prefers that fight over Loma, ironically.
