he constantly sends his fighters out to be defensive and ****

Haye's performance v Valuev and now Groves v DeGale are the two worst big fight 'winning' performances I've ever seen.

Haye and Groves are two massive KO punchers. You wouldn't know that though the way Booth sends them out on their bike.

Imagine if this boring negative **** had been around when Benn and Eubanks had been in their pomp. We'd have had a chess match instead of a boxing classic.

so until Booth ****s off, I advise you avoid all his fighters PPVs like an STD (unless you're looking for a cure for insomnia).

At least we know what Haye's tactics v Klitschko are going to be now...

    Its working though.

Booth is after results - and is also very conciouness of keeping his fighers physically intact / undamaged.

From a entertainment point of view though - its a little tedious.

Of course Haye is gonna get on his bike to fight Klitschko - we all know that.

It's Eubank not Eubanks , why do some many people say that?

Now Booth is working on a gameplan to outfox Wlad Klitschko as we speak.

i don't think haye will get on his bike,it would be suicide to stand of a klit with that big jab,i think haye will get inside and trie to stop him early, thats what i would do.

but your right, booth has a negative safety 1st approach,so i am probably wrong.

also, how ****ing gay is he,it looked like he wanted to neck groves in the interview

    I don't think he's a negatively minded trainer.

It's just a co-incidence that his two biggest nights as a trainer have involved giving ground. If he'd stood in front of DeGale he'd have probably lost. Haye could probably have done a better job on Valuev, that was a close shave IMO.

DeGale was expecting Groves to come forward and throw bombs, hence why they chose Cleverly as a sparring partner..... they decided to do the opposite and see how things went.

The result says it all, Groves MD12 DeGale.

I've given Booth some **** but I've got to admit that he knows what he's doing. There's method behind everything he does, the most impressive aspect is that he talks clearly to his man in the corner..... as opposed to shouting, talking bollocks with motivational crap.

it's not dumb, if boxing was full of adam booths it would ruin boxing as a spectacle.

there is no way you can watch that fight last night and tell me groves was the 'better fighter' and deserved to win.

groves was scared shitless, on the back foot all night, and somehow miraculously won because he threw more petrified defensive jabs.

the moronic judges somehow gave more points for defensive jabs landed, than for Degale's aggression in coming forward, his pressure and making sure than punches could be landed - not to mention the umpteen hooks he landed and the two black eyes he gave groves.

in boxing, aggression and pressure should be prioritised. damage should be considered. this isn't the ****ing amateurs anymore.

It was the perfect gameplan last night. Its not always about standing in the middles and trading bombs.

I enjoyed the fight, cant say much more.

i agree, god dam adam booth. how ****ing dare he put together a plan to win a win and beat an opponent based on skill. terrible terrible times. yes yes he should employ the tactics of paul smiths old coach for a great example...:patsch

because he was born eubanks and was initially eubanks - he only changed it later

yes mate i agree with your last point but possibly tou dont know how boxing is scored: round by round.

degale did ****all for a chunk of 4-5 rounds straight, he had no gameplan for groves. he just stood there with no clue. this wasnt a superb performance by groves but he did well enough and fought to a plan.

It's simple: he won more rounds therefore he won the fight

He was born Chris Eubanks, he only dropped the S later on because he was wary of people taking the **** out of his lisp
