I had him bottom end of the top ten but he hasn't fought for 18 months so took him out. Look forward to his return though, some good fights to be had.

I thought Porter won that fight. Thurman was never a top pound for pound guy in my opinion. Winning controversial decisions doesn't get you on pound for pound lists.

In less than 4 months, he will reach the two year anniversary from when he last laced up.

Most people as well as publications roll with the general rule of 12 months. So there is your answer.

Well he's not really a fighter anymore, so I guess there's that.

He was doing well and fighting often at one point, but he got an injury and that slowed down his career when he was in his prime. It was a bad time to go inactive. He is 30 years old and has not fought in a year and a half. In a few months, he has not fought in practically 2 years. And Porter has passed him up.

That is a long time to be inactive. This is not just half a year or 9 months. This is over a year and a half.

Did you know he's actually fighting? As early as next year no less.

    One time became Done Time.

I like Thurman, but his hearts in other places now. Not sure if he's going to be the same guy once he's back, or if he's gotten everything out of boxing he needs to.

No WW should be considered P4P right now.

Thurman has the best resume, but is inactive.
Porter has the best recent win, but losses to other WWs.
Spence has beat Brook coming off a loss.
    Brook is finished.

You need to actually fight to be p4p.

Sounds like an excuse. Thye should have never thought then by that rational. If BROOK has won, would you have said the reverse.

Kell Brook is better then Porter and at the time him and Thurman were viewed as the number one and two in the division. Spence took him out and replaced him.
