Hearn had no problems arranging a fight with Klitschko, and offered a rematch.... Team Parker found Hearn so difficult to work with.....They've signed another fight! Dillian Whyte was so fed up of Hearn's BS.....He signed with Hearn! Team Povetkin found Hearn so impossible to work with....They've signed for 2 fights with Hearn in 12 months! Finkel was even part of Klitschko's team when arranging the Joshua fight..... 0 problems! Klitschko, Parker, Whyte and Povetkin have had no problems working with Hearn. Wilder needs to look a lot closer to home. This isn't a 'Wilder doesn't want it' post..... But having 217,000 different managers isn't helpful at all.
Joshua - states he will fight Wilder for 50 million, in the USA or wherever, it doesn't matter. Wilder - produces the 50 million and says lets fight in the USA, awesome Joshua - no, no fight in the USA, your referees are dodgy, not like here in England. Wilder - fine you bish I will come to the UK and knock you out in front of your fans. Joshua - this fight could happen 2 years down the line maybe. In short, Joshua does not want the fight. He is scared of getting humiliated and becoming the laughing stock of the UK, getting iced in front of his home crowd. Wilder called his bluff. Simple as that. A duck is a duck is a duck.
Joshua also had no problem arranging fights with 3 Haymon fighters in Martin, Breazeale and Molina but for some reason Wilder is an issue with dealing with Hearn or any other decent fighter who isn't signed with Haymon actually, Parker no fight, Whyte no fight, Povetkin no fight, Wlad no fight, Fury no fight.
They overpayed Martin for the belt(Eddies own words) Brazeale and Molina would obviously accept any terms as they bring zero to the table and it’s a championship opportunity.. Joshua nor Wilder is scared but Eddie Hearn as obvious reasons why he would rather wait as he’s trying to get Wilder-Brazeale or Whyte on DAZN and already has Joshua/Povetkin on DAZN.. Some people let there hate for Wilder blind themselves from what’s happening but it’s quite obvious to neutral fans that this is Hearn doing.. He’s used the visibililty and interest in the Wilder Joshua negations to promote himself and DAZN more to the American public.. I just wanna see the fight forget all the shenanigans
Agreed. Hearn has two main agendas at the moment; making the Joshua vs Wilder fight and getting DAZN off the ground in the US. Delaying the fight until DAZN is established will fulfill both agendas without one conflicting the other. It's not rocket science. That said, Wilder's team seem happy to slot in a relatively routine defence in the meantime too. Both sides are happy to delay. Guess what? The fight's delayed. The trash talk is merely decorating the Christmas tree with the fake tinsel of intent....
Wilder refused to fight Wlad before DAZN existed.... Wilder refused to fight Povetkin before DAZN existed....(And is being sued for damages) Wilder refused to fight Whyte before DAZN existed.... Hearn is the easiest promoter in the sport to make a deal with according to K2.
If you look at the situation objectively it's easy to see who the protected fighter is... Wilder has only fought Ortiz in a life and death battle. Stiverne? Plzzzzz
Not so sure those things happened. He should’ve fought Povetkin even if he was dirty though. Wilder could still put Joshua into orbit whether you think he’s ducked someone or not. That stands.
The only people who really think that are wilders ******ed fanboys. 40 year old Klitschko was better than wilder in every department and they volunteered for that fight. Yes 40 year old wlad was coming off a fury loss and that fury would have made wilder look like a spastic
See, this is where I have a problem with people like yourself. "Not so sure these things happened"....Be CONSISTENT. 1 - Klitschko Wilder's team, specifically Finkel said that Wilder was 'Not ready' for Klitschko. He had 33 fights lol. 2 - Povetkin Team Wilder is currently being sued as it turns out that Wilder pulled out of the fight incorrectly, and without valid reason. 3 - Whyte He called Whyte a 'bum' and a 'nobody' and turned down between $5-7 million dollars to fight the only man ranked top 10 by all organisations, and WBC number 2......To fight Stiverne II for 'chump change'.
