It's amazing how people love Rios now

People made Alvarado out to be better than he was. I never thought Rios was anything special , i still dont. Doesn't mean i dont like him, hes just average.

i havent been much of a fan of his usually root against him but the backlash against Rios is hysterical

the guy just fought a great fight beat a solid opponent at a new weight and guys are acting like its not a big deal

Rios is a great action fighter who will take on anyone and minus Abril has done good doing it

i say fight Garcia next

 

I guarantee you Rios will not lose any sleep over your hatred of him.

 

Match Rios up with a brawler type of fighter and you will get fireworks for as long as the fight goes and Rios has pulled out all those fights with his heart, chin, and in-fighting skills. Match him up with a good boxer type at 140 lbs and you'll get the Abril fight all over again unless said boxer happens to be very slow. Basically, Rios is a good fighter but limited and one of his biggest advantages in size/power is negated at 140 lbs and up.
