its annoying how people try and compare broner to naz

    naz although being arrogant was funny at the same time, he cleaned out the featherweight division and was the undisputed man to beat at that weight for atleast 7 years, berrara is an ATG who beat him down. maidana couldn't hold berrara's tea cup

    ^^^ I agree but there are similarities to both fighters. They were/are both arrogant and brash fighters who thought they couldn't be defeated by anyone. At least in Broner's defense he jumped up from 135 to 147 and attempted to take on the top guys in the division. The way he was beaten last night was similar to the way Hamed was beaten down, hopefully Broner doesn't follow in his footsteps and disappear the way Naseem did.

    Not in the States, His career in the states does in deed parrallel Broner's, lot of Hype, good wins over B-C competition, then gets schooled by a tough no nonesense Hispanic Fighter-right down to being humped(Barrera putting Hamed in a full nelson and running him into the ring post)...

    I loved watching Naz but it's true that he looked invincible against lower level Guys but vulnerable once he stepped up - like Broner.

    They're of different cloth.

    I found Naz highly entertaining, and funny. I find Broner dreadfully boring and repetitious, he's like a parrot, whereas Naseem Hamed was the FIRST of his kind :lol:

    what about james toney they guy fought guys who he'd barely scrape by, he barely won against mike maccalum and when he finally stepped up and faced roy jones he got completely domianted for 12 rounds. i can think of way worse examples then naz's loss to berrara.
