Thanks for that clip barneyrub, on seeing it again I have to agree with you LL was more adventurous than Wlad was with Iggy, but you must agree too that Tua made it a fight by his aggresiveness as well. You call boxing well, using no head movement, applying no pressure, having a leaky defense and throwing wild off balance punches a couple times a round. Yeah, what a performance :roll:

Vlad played a game of chess and won it easily. He showed his remarkable skills.

 

Wlad was far less dominant then he should have been considering the opposition. Offensively he was extremely timid, and he really didn't show the ability to break down a guy who was fighting very defensively. It gave boxing fans an insight into his still weak mentality. I think Wlad is a very good fighter, but it was a poor performance, regardless of how wide the scorecard showed. Floyd Mayweather totally shutout Baldomir, but it was hardly a fight critics raved about either. Comparitively this fight was FAR FAR worse.

We know that styles make fights farmy, when this Aussie bigmouth settles down and stops drinking for awhile he might see the point. Wlads performance wasn't the slugfest that some wanted to see, it was a defensive piece of art that saw no man seriously hurt. As I like both Wlad and Iggy, I was happy with the result.
