I have not seen the fight. From what I understand Holyfield was "robed" on the grounds that he was slightly less bad than Valuev.
Pointless to expect anything. Evander should accept the lost and retire, I mean that's the best for his health. He had Valuev's number on that night, I mean he had it bad, but sanctioning bodies never change a decision scored by their OWN judges, and I don't think Holyfield can do it again in a rematch. Valuev will be in a bit better condition and prepeare for Evander's constant movement. Pointless to see a rematch of a fight that was as wide as 118-110 - and the rightful winner was still robbed. Ignore the giant, that's pretty much all we can do.
Something about John Ruiz keeps him available for WBA title shots.... Ruiz is NOT a bad fighter, but his style stinks like a stale fart in an office building... Anyway, Ruiz seems to be on the European fight circuit these days; America and cable TV no longer care to see him fight.... MR.BILL
Likewise. That belt has lost ALL credibility. John Ruiz has been the mandatory at least 4 times now, the fights have been ****, the champions inactive, the judging ****ing awful. I dont care who the champion is or who gets the belt. Until Vitali or Wladimir picks it up, it doesnt mean anything,
The WBA heavyweight title belt is utter crapola............... As is the IBO, IBC, WBU, WAA, WBF & any other "Sub" division trying to push a belt........ The "K" bros. have respect with the IBF and WBC titles..... And even those two organizations are corrupt with ****.......... MR.BILL
That aint no excuse for fighting like **** and looking passive against a 46 year old dude who was eight inches shorter and one hundred pounds lighter......... The hell? MR.BILL
