It's been awfully quiet on the Puerto Rican and Cuban front.

Can’t speak for Cuba but I know PR is still dealing with the aftermath of a natural disaster and 100 + years of US colonialism.

They are small countries, what are you gonna do. Besides, Cubans have to leave their kids and parents FOREVER to come box in the USA. That is not easy.

Well Felix Verdejo was suppose to be the next Cotto as far as PR superstar, but long layoffs, problems outside the ring and being blasted out in his last fight by a Mexican Journeymen have halted that train for now.

Maybe both countries should import some Mexican cows. That would get them back in the mux.

Your post was as idiotic as his.

This thread is about the future of Puerto Rico and Cuban boxing.

Cuba has taken some pretty big L's recently although I think Dorticos and Ortiz came away with some extra fandom

Isn’t exactly easy for a Cuban to be known. From escaping Cuba to then actually getting the fights to get known

But dw.. they’re holding the amateurs down quite fine.. not quite there
