Peoples can say Cotto wasn't this Cotto wasn't that, Margo wasn't this Margo wasn't that but we as fight fans all know that the fight to be made at 147 was Floyd vs Cotto or Margo. After the Hatton fight, Floyd was really being pushed into a fight with Cotto or Margo. Those fight could have propel him as the fighter of the decade but he let it slips away. For what reason I don't know but those would have been his defining fight. Fight were you can show the world why you're the best.

pac will be in dec..... he fought odh well before pac did and at a much higher weight as odh weighed 162 to the 147 version that fought pac...PBF is the best fighter because he dominates every fight

Cotto lost one fight so what. SRL lost to Duran so he was finished? Hell no. You guys got to get off that "0" bull****. So if PBF loses his "0" he is a disgrace? Cotto will be fighting much better now then before he lost. I can't say the same for Marg due to his cheating. PBF has to fight Pac and then get on with unifying the belts and possibly try at 154 one more time.

Why does he not fight for the MW title? Are you forgetting PBF force himself to move up weights? He should be fighting at 140 not 147 or 154. His agenda was to follow Oscar until he confirmed a fight with him. He was calling out Oscar since being at 130. Marquez, Pac, the WW division and then possibly the JMW division. He just came back and hopefully he will give us good fights.

Like people can say Cotto/Margarito weren't this or that they can also say they were this and that, no difference there just speculation with zero proof.

The proof came later on when Margarito lost to Williams, Cotto lost to Margarito and Margarito got destroyed in one-sided fashion against Mosley even though he was caught trying to cheat.

A win over Cotto or Margarito would have made him the fighter of the decade? :patsch

Go to middleweight?, are you serious?

Floyd wasn't even supposed to go to Welterweight, let alone 154 and you expect him to go to the middleweight division? :nut:

Everyone knew that Mayweather belonged at 140 but back then there weren't enough decent fights to make that's why he had to move up to make better fights.

The point is Buffer can't say,"Someone O's must Goes". LOL i'm just J/K with you but I am serious about Floyd not fighting Cotto when Cotto was undefeated. There come a time in a fighter life when that perfect fight comes and that was it. Floyd let it slipped away.

Scar you obviously rate both Pac and PBF if they were to retire today, who would you consider the better fighter of the two?

Mayweather didn't let it slip away, Cotto was called out back then and claimed he's not ready. Right when Mayweather retired they started talking trash. If you weren't around to know what happened I would suggest a quick Google search to avoid further embarrassments.

That's very ture, Floyd should be a 140lbs fighter no doubt. But to be the best you have to move up and challenge yourself. If that was the case, Pac would be fighting at 130. Pac is fighter of the decade because he's fighting 2-3 weights above his natural weight and he is still fighting the best.

50/50 for me so far, can't really make a prediction till I see how Mayweather performs next. One thing I have to admit, Mayweather's performance against both DLH and Hatton suggested he's either losing interest or activity in the ring. He just wasn't throwing as much as he did before and would resort to one punch at a time tactics, these MIGHT have worked with Hatton and DLH but it sure as hell won't work with Pac. Have to wait and see how he performs next to make a proper prediction.
