It's been CONFIRMED! So Floyd Mayweather vs Canelo Alvarez on Sept 14! Who wins?

You've got to go with Floyd but I wouldn't argue with anyone who fancies Canelo to win.

 

Floyd! This is huge for his resume.
He will win because his jab to the body will tire out Canelo more so than he's used to being tired out which will enable floyd to utilise his greater speed and skill to devastating effect. I expect Floyd to win a 9-3 type decision providing the scoring is fair.

Because Floyd is the best boxer active boxer alive and Canelo has alot of hype with him but not alot of skill. Floyd is probably going to beat him worst than he beat Guerrero.

Without a rehydration clause in the fight, Canelo is probably going to weigh just w/e he wants to weigh so he'll be his usual blown-up self and he won't be able to go the distance against Floyd, who is going to outbox him and probably -cause Floyd is much stronger than people realize- out muscle Canelo too.

I got a sneaky suspicion Canelo is going to be gymwork for Floyd, that doesn't mean he isn't a good fighter. Floyd is just a Grand-Master at this point, and Canelo lacks the one thing I think can give Floyd trouble, which is speed and a superior work ethic.

I actually see this as 60-40 in favour of floyd, but thought i'd go with my heart on this one.

Plus i thought canelo could use the vote

 

70-30 Floyd, if we're talking percentages. I see a Mayweather UD in the works.

 

Floyd, I just dont see what Canelo does that Floyd cant handle, still its the best opponent pout there and the one we wanna see

It could, but alvarez never really uses his size to win fights, he doesn't hold or fight on the inside.

So as long as we get a healthy Alvarez i think we have a competetive fight.

I had crazy idea thou.... If the fight is even slightly close and the way they have been building Alvarez is it possible he will get gift against old Floyd and there we have it the new super star in boxing.:shock::think It has happened before...

 

I am not even close to being a fan of Floyd, but to me this is an easy fight for him. Never been impressed with Canelo, not a real big puncher, not real fast, looks pretty easy to hit, I think Floyd just plays with him. Hope I am wrong and we get a good fight, but I see and easy UD for Floyd. I doubt Floyd would have taken this fight if he thought there was even the remotest chance that he would lose

 

did you see the trout fight. Trout was hitting air all night, and he's a decent offensive fighter.
