Name me any CEO of an NFL franchise that will take entertaining their audience over winning. The difference between watching a movie to be entertained and a sporting event is the goal of winning! :smoke

Your delusional if you think sports isn't about entertainment what a competitive product does is enhance the entertainment value.

How often are you watching competitive wrestling, or competitive squash, hell I could name a 100 sports where the competition might be every bit as good as the NFL but no one's watching it...why is that? And if it were just about competition why have a superbowl half time event?? Why hold hockey games in football arena's?

Yes sports is entertainment :good Difference being the object is to win. You do not have that element in other kinds of entertainment such as movies, concerts, etc.

Do you really have to ask why the NFL is more popular than "squash"?

If anyone is comparing Wlad to John Ruiz, then they DKSAB. Wlad is 61-3 and hasn't lost in nearly 10 years. 15 straight defenses. He can actually KO opponents. Ruiz' career was winning the belt from a half-senile Holyfield and losing to a light heavyweight. Then winning an interim belt and feasting off that.

same objective, one happens to be more entertaining than the other, which is exactly my point. You never did mention why the NFL would need a half time event if the sole purpose was to provide a competitive product. This is a slam dunk!!!!

Yeah, wasn't that a famous speech by Vince Lombardi? "Men, remember, it doesn't matter if we win or lose, the main objective is to entertain the audience at half time!" :patsch :nut

If you don't know who Vince Lombardi is just google the name. It's a slam dunk the name will come up :good
