That show KICKS ASS. Seriously, everyone needs to watch it to let Showtime know they are on the right track, and to make sure this type of tournament happens again. The episodes are all online, it's great viewing. It's such a novel concept: A boxing show... about boxing! And not about money, families, and bowling. Episode 6 has me hyped as hell for Ward/Green.
Agree with you. Being hardcore boxing fans, 360 is right up our street. However 24/7 is aimed towards those casual fans, who tend to be wooed by its hollywood tone and emotional appeal. If you show them an episode of each (24/7 vs 360), they'll opt for the former. But still, this should not give HBO an excuse to continue using their repetitive formula for the Mayweather/Pacquiao series. Seeing as though this will be the biggest fight since Lewis/Tyson (but much more meaningful), I expect them to do something new.
