What a crap thread. As if it would be better for the sport. I don't think it really matters who wins. All those fights would be good. I personally think that it would be more meaningful for Hatton to win, to prove that you can win no matter how many people are against you. I'd love Hatton to win, just to shut up all the arrogant Pacman fans. I can't wait to see the threads on here tomorrow, whoever wins or whoever loses, the threads on here are going to be entertaining!

Because Hatton isn't going to 147 again. And I get the feeling Marquez will retire after the beating he'll take from Mayweather.

For 'the sake boxing' i'd much rather see the underdog. Hatton triumph over adversity.

It would be an amazing comeback after getting thoroughly beaten by PBF and having to make changes to his camp and lifestyle.

Think my friend, there aren't many arrogant Pac fans, most people typing junk about the fight are just Hatton/Brit haters.Manny and his true fans are far more humble and respectful.:good

Wouldn't that be funny? Floyd comes back and ends up waiting around for the rematch as it's what the public demands. Poor Floyd would be left explaining why he still won't fight an actual welterweight.

its good for the sport if pac wins because hattons style is ugly. in the build up pac has been humble respective and dedicated. hatton has been giving his sly comments and discrediting pacs accomplishments. plus pac v mayweather

I don't see how it was the wrong ref. That wrestling bull**** is weak and not exciting. I want to see Hatton land blows without resorting to the punch punch and grab style. Hatton is good fighter, but he looks weaker resorting to such tactics.

Floyd Sr basically pointed out that he didn't have much boxing style or knowledge. Pac will be ready for that kind of ****, and I don't even thing it would matter if the ref allowed it.

People like boxing most when it's competitive, when the underdog can pull it off, when the less skilled guy, like Rocky, can win.

Last time it was Pacquiao vs. Oscar, and it was good.

This time, it should be Hatton pulling it off.

Boxing needs people back, and these kind of underdog stories can make our sport popular again. People are tired of the favorites winning. But Hopkins, PacMan, Froch and now Hatton can make it very exciting again.

a great fight is what would be best for the sport. It doesn't matter who wins, but entertaining and competitive fights between mainstream fighters will help the sport to grow.

Let us not forget that Manny is the real underdog here, not Ricky...whatever the bookies think. ;)

...let's not underrate Ricky here, please...he is the bigger, stronger man, fighting at his ideal weight...Manny's coming from lower down.

Manny is only the bookies' and most experts' favourite because Manny's seemingly achieved the impossible against DLH...and people think he's unbeatable...but he isn't...no one is...

May the best man win. Go, Ricky! Go, Manny!:happy

Great fight for boxing. And that's the bottom line!:good

**** Floyd. I hope Manny wins, then fights JMM. Both warriors with balls. I hope Floyd retires never to be seen again. **** him.
