It's better if Bivol never takes the trilogy

Bivol got away with it. He aged Beterbiev out, still lost the first fight, won the rematch in a razor close fight and froze him out. If Bivol beats Beterbiev again future fans and casual fans will see Bivol as the better boxer but he's not. Prime Beterbiev beats Bivol everytime and I am a bigger fan of Bivol

If Bivol never takes the trilogy he will get criticized for not being a man of his word and successfully avoiding Beterbiev on multiple occasions. Bivol doesn't deserve another paper win against a middle aged man that he avoided when Beterbiev was at his peak

Bivol was robbed in the first fight, it was a miracle he wasn't robbed in the second, I don't blame him for not exposing himself to being robbed again.

Second fight wasn’t close really. Beterbiev was missing a lot which seemed to have sapped his energy. Bad performance by him tbh.

Ya unfortunately I think its better for Beterbiev if they dont fight again.
At least right now its 1-1.

Kinda reminds me a bit of the Golovkin Canelo rivalry. By the time the fights happened the better fighter had aged to the point where the subsequent rematches would only bring diminishing returns.

On one hand yes everything you just said. On the other hand Bivols a champ and Beterbiev needs to go through him or Benavidez to become a champ again.

He's between a rock and a hard place.
