    IBO light welterweight champion Ricky Hatton is currently escaping the cold in Manchester by vacationing in South Africa. "The Hitman" told Sky Sports News that he plans to be back in the ring at the end of May or the beginning of June. Ricky stated his comeback bout, which could take place at the 48,000-seat City of Manchester Stadium, would not be against WBC super lightweight rival Junior Witter. "Junior Witter has made a career for himself on slagging me off," he said. "I don't know whether I want to give him the best pay day of his life. When someone slags you off you don't repay them by giving them their best payday

    This fat **** was making a myriad of excuses on Sky sports. Its clearly obvious he doesnt want to fight Witter incase Witter upsets his well balanced applecart. Well **** Ricky and **** the gravy train he rode in on. His a ****ing fraud.

    He sat in that chair like a fat well fed cat rambling on about meeting DLH at catchweight and saying his not afraid of fighting anyone. Of course not. Makes perfect sense to meet a massive welter like DLH at considering all the money involved and not face a guy who has a genuine chance of exposing him as a massive fraud, because when he gets starched again his excuse can be "oh it was the weight" "oh i tried my best and fought for me fans". Pathetic utterly pathetic. I hope whoever he fights next utterly flattens him. :roll:

    Time for Witter to face Torres or Malignaggi and for the fight. Unified champions mean more to many boxing enthusiasts than Lineal titles these days. Unify....I have no doubt those two would fight him.

    He doesn't like Witter. Without Hatton Witter will never get any recognition. Why should Hatton even acknowledge him? Seriously?

    I would love to see Witter unify and that could be a distinct possibility if he had more buying power.I wonder what Ricky`s excuse will be then?:think

    Recognition isnt the key here. His trying to fight the best guy in his division and has earned his shot.He also wants to prove to the world that his the best guy at 140 and not Hatton.

    So why isn't Hatton defending his title or trying to beat the best fighters in his weight class? Pass for fighting Mayweather. Cool....but now it's time to make his JWW legacy stand out.

    no thats true not like hatton is the stronger. has the better stamina and the better heart. and its not as if witters only noticable win was against a has been in harris. but no you keep believeing that witter is the better fighter. :scaredas:
