Hatton will get paid well whomever he fights, if he had anything like a champions attitude he would have fought his domestic rival years ago. If he never fights Witter, it will count against him. If he fights Witter and loses, it will count against him even more and the 'number 1 light-welter weight' of this time will be demoted to only the second best light-welter weight in Britain.

Hatton has too many fawning devotees willing to excuse his actions by adopting their heroes mantra of 'Witter doesn't deserve a payday'. It's a sad fact that any words of pressure from the serious boxing public, can easily be drowned out by the noise of his fans.

 

I want him to fight witter and I am a big hatton fan as you are well aware. If he does fight him and beats him people will be slagging him off for not fighting mallinaggi.

 

They wont, to fight Malignaggi is not a major thing right now for Hatton , Witter is , and has been sincr domestic level. This is just some Hatton bias here

 

No its not see if hatton does beat witter you know some people will say oh he has waited till he was on his last leggings. Do u agree though instead of calling hatton all thoes years he looks for the big fights such as mallinaggi and even torres as it will be a unification and it will force hattons hands. Instead of badgering hatton for seven years shouldn't he have been trying to secure a legacy for himself.
