Witter has serious overlooked KO power, he could make Hatton look stupid, although Hatton went 10 with Mayweather was pretty impressive even though if the fight went on the 12 it would probably have been a near shut out, since I had only Hatton winning one round, a Witter win is very likely.

 

If Hatton thinks he can make more money fighting Oscar, let him AND DON'T BUY THE FIGHT!

I wouldn't call Hatton a fraud but can't you see that him being prepared to fight Tszyu or Mayweather isn't the same as fighting Witter? Losing to either of them would have only have meant he lost to the best & he wouldn't have lost as much respect but losing to Witter would be embarassing.

The Lennox Lewis analogy isn't really accurate as he was the one being avoided.

Why does Witter and you seem to think he needs Hatton. Have him fight Torres, Malinaggi, jump up in weight and challenge Cotto or any of the other welters. Maybe then he will be in position to tell Ricky to get lost Im not giving you the chance.

 

Why would Hatton fight Witter if there's no money (only for Witter) in it, the non-British boxing world (the silent 99%) wouldn't give a f._.ck anyway, and if Witter made all the trash talk disrespecting Hatton wouldn't it be the biggest punishment NOT to fight him and NOT let him earn millions with Hatton’s name?

Make no mistake - Hatton would KNOCK OUT Witter in a few rounds. And this could be an interesting fight, no doubt. But where are the millions? Ricky earned couple of dozen million dollars last time, why would he fight for 2 this time?

C'mon, it's pro boxing. There's no money in it. HBO wouldn't buy it and bet that Hatton is still an HBO fighter, and that's that, end of story. Maybe, MAYBE if Witter would defeat Malignaggi on SHO or HBO that could wake up the interest in American TVs who's bringing the money at this stage of Ricky’s career. So whenever Ricky chooses an opponent he has to approve it by HBO too.

So the Hatton-Witter clash is not impossible just Witter haven't became the BIG NAME he claims he is (yet).

When Malignaggi and Torres are forced to fight (in the case of Cotto) they can make any match-up very exciting. So no one should blame Ricky IF he chooses one of them over Witter. And hey, why wouldn't he deserve a tune-up after his first loss, a KO loss?

Hatton's carrier is not over yet. If the time and the money is right, the big fights, including Witter (if he ever become a big name) will happen. Don't worry.

 

it makes no difference to me at all but are you for real fighters fight for money and it would be a good domestic fight for sure and one I would love to watch.
