You mean Marquez took 5 years to give a rematch to Pacman. And Marquez DELIBERATELY ducked Guzman. Get your facts straight.
I agree. But I'm not gonna compain too much on whoever this opponent is. After that there's a few guys he needs to fight.
Hatton just needs to fight someone at his weight to expose him for being so over-rated. I really haven't EVER seen anything about him that makes him impressive. His best quality is he can be "agressive"..... Maybe I've been unfair to hatton, but being someone that tries to give anyone from the early 1900s to current day a fair chance.....I still just see him as average at his absolute best.
exactly, it does'nt have anything to do with it. the hatton apologists act more like accountants than boxing fans. urango could'nt sell out a livingroom yet hatton fought him? hypocrisy, plain and simple.
what about collazo, the guy was the weakest of belt holders, ranked 26 by boxrec and not in the ring top 10, the weakest title holder who no one ever heard of.
i guess it breaks their hearts to see heir hero in a tough fight again, but they are fine still calling him the best.
He is the best until somebody in the LWW division does something to challenge him. Malignaggi getting gift decisions and Witter knocking out Maussa cast offs whilst Hatton fights the P4P#1 ain't gonna make me change my mind.
Both can talk all they want (Hatton and especially Witter), in the end they will NEED to fight each other. They are great fighters in the 140 div. it's only natural and there is no doubt that it will be a very interesting match up.
There isnt another fight I have wanted as much as this one, said Marquez, WBC World Super Featherweight Champion. I won our first fight. He won the first round and I won the next 11. Hes avoided me for four years, saying he is the Mexican Executioner but he isnt because he hasnt beaten me and he wont beat me. They have both ducked Guzman I believe my facts are straight
Seriously, I'd love to see Witter get a shot as much as the next guy but he's really got to become more than "a guy Zab Judah beat". Beating Vivian Harris was a good step up, don't get me wrong, but it's a bit hypocritical to go after Hatton's "gravy train" as if Witter's resume is littered with a who's who of 140 champs/contenders.
