It's Crazy How So Many People Are Defending Canelo Like They Did Floyd...

Both Pacquiao and Mayweather's teams were waiting for that fight. It wasn't only Mayweather. The only thing that happened during the hype charade, was that Pacquiao and Arum played the heroic pursuers, while Mayweather played the bad guy who's waiting to maximize profits. Realistically, they were both doing the same. Ever wondered while during the entire process, Pacquiao was ONLY fighting opponents within the TOP RANK stable?. I know it's mind boggling for simple minded people like you, considering you're a Golovkin fan.

As far as Golovkin is concerned, he's no Pacquiao and will never ever be. Not in career/accomplishments nor in star power. The man doesn't even have a single win worth talking about and he's already looking for paydays. I can't blame him though, if anyone had the idiotic fan base he has, they will all do the same.

Floyd rode the Corrales and Castillo wins for over a decade financially and professionally. So it's not like GGG has the only dumb fanbase.

 

I don't think anyone truthfully believes that Pacquiao ducked Floyd. Both situations aren't as black and white as you make it but it's clear that Canelo (or Oscar, doesn't matter to be honest) isn't in a rush to fight Golovkin.

Alvarez is a top tier fighter but this last few years has been a bit of a joke really, all orchestrated by Oscar and his endless talking which have all contradicted themselves. I've cringed at many of the complete nonsense he has come out with in trying to save a bit of face after many a grumble from other people in the sport who just don't swallow his stories

 

OMG. Let's go back to memory lane. Floyd intentionally came back out of retirement and took on JMM who was number 2 p4p at the time to take a shot at the hyped up Manny Pacquiao. He white washed JMM and calls out Manny. Offers him 50/50. Manny pulls out of negotiations over drug testing which became a non-problem later in his career. Keep in mind that not only did Ariza come out and say it was Team Pacs fault for the first negotiations falling through but Roach himself confirmed this as well. Yet we still have haters today claiming it was all Floyds fault.

As far as this Canelo/GGG nonsense. GGG is not even a big star. He got his first million dollar paydays his last 2 fights. Broner has more career earnings than this guy. So does Garcia and Amir Khan just to give you guys an idea where this hypejob is really at in the scheme of things as a 34 year old. GGG wants ridiculous money and doesn't want to make any concessions for being a B side fighter. Myself, as well as all of you would do the same sheet GB is doing if the shoe was on your foot. I wouldn't want to give anyone a payday they have not earned and risk my stock just because a few fanboys on the internet want they Jon Cena God to come up in no way any B side fighter has ever come up in the history of the sport.

 

Canelo is the top ppv star, a position he inherited from Floyd. I see many triple duckriders in the thread and they are expecting a million plus ppv buys for canelo/ggg. There's an expectation that the biggest star knows how to build a fight and will defend his chess moves. It's really simple.

 

The over whemling majority of people are stupid and gross, not unlike all the filth on this thread getting all emo over Floyd. They are pervasive trash who sullen everything they touch, living only to worship at the faux idol that is Floyd. I swear if they started throwing GGG supporters into ovens they would not only do nothing but make excuses for why it is a logical course of action and had no other alternatives needing to be done.
