It's Difficult To Crown Oleksandr Usyk The P4P King Because He Wan't Top 3/5...

    Like, for the Gassiev win to place Mr. Usyk at the top of the mountain, he had to have been in the Top 3 P4P leading into the fight... And I've never come across any P4P lists that had him there.

    he didn't need to be anywhere. p4p is entirely subjective. he has better wins than some of the top 10, so he's at least top 10. has a better resume and similar achievements as Bud/Loma, so he goes top 3...that's my interpretation of it anyway.

    I think its a whole lotta not knowing **** about the Cruiserweight division going on on here.

    Because if you did, then there would be no doubt in your mind that he belongs in the Top 3, he was in most people's Top 10 after the Briedis win, the Gassiev win seals the deal. His resume is arguably equal to Loma's and more impressive than Crawford's.

    The cruiserweight division is hot and I've followed the WBSS. That said, the heir to the P4P throne is generally succeeded by a person who's been firmly recognized as the #2-5.

    I'd like to see some P4P lists with Mr. Usyk in it.

    So leading up to the Gassiev fight, why wasn't Usyk more of a presence on P4P lists?

    Usyk was ranked #10 by the Ring after beating Briedis and I had him higher.

    So by beating Gassiev Usyk knocks G out of the top 3? If you go by wins, Jacobs was a better win than Gassiev. The draw with Canelo doesn't take away anythiing from G. I am putting G at 3, because most top 10 have Loma and Crawford at 1 and 2.

    for me, yes. with the way he done it, what he achieved by doing it, and where he did it, he goes in my top 3 until GGG/Canelo II
