boxrec says Khan is facing Earl on Dec 8th. That is the day I believe he is old enough to face Thaxton. However Thaxton v Stewart I believe was a Commonwealth eliminator so Thaxton is now Khans mandatory.

Those would be 2 very good fights for Khan I think.

If he wins those 2 then I will be impressed.

If it is confirmed for the 8th Dec this bout is the same date as Hatton v Mayweather?!

I believe everyone involved, including Warren, has confirmed it.

I guess I'll need to add that to the tv schedule.

8th december has always been the date for the next khan fight. its just the opponent that hasn't been confirmed.

there shouldn't be a problem with it being the same day as hatton-mayweather as that fight will take place around 6 hours later.

If you're the Commonwealth champion shouldn't you be ready to fight any one in the Commonwealth? Doesn't that make sense?

I think it's only fair that Khan defends his title against the best Lightweight in the commonwealth.............Katsidis next so!

Seriously though if it is Earl then Thaxton you can't blame Khan's opposition , cause there is nothing wrong with that .

I suppose that would leave him on track for his World title in 5 fights , leaving another fight(possibly Romanov) if he gets that far , and then a crack at a World title(after Romanov:lol:......if he gets that far) .

Anyway , I reckon he impressively stops Earl , then outboxes Thaxtons for 3/4 rounds , then gets caught......game over .
