It's easy to say American heavyweights aren't that good...

Hey man, Did I understand you right that basically you accept these Eastern block boxers and their talent? which means you are not those Americans who thinks these Easter Blocks are only doing well because Americans are not interested about boxing anymore.

It seems like 90% of Americans thinks these guys from Eurasia(Europe&Asian) at hw are some kind of second rate boxers and would not exist in any other era...

Im not from Eastern Europe myself.

I care not to see two big grown men hug on each other. The whole division is not worth watching in my opinion. No matter what country has the best heavyweight.

All the best "would be" american boxers are playing other sports like basketball and football where they make way more money and dont have to get there face beat in all the time. Thats the only diff now. If i was a 6'11 260 black male i would prob play basketball and make it rich instead of getting my brains beat in. There use to be more great american heavies cause other sports wernt as big and some guys had to fight there way out of poverty. so the flag doesnt make a diff. just the popularity of othere sports does

I wouldn't say that. There is really no telling when an American puts it all together and becomes champ. Some guy with Chambers skills and K2 like size. Right now, the big guy's think all power and no conditioning while the ones that are just too small are very skilled. It isn't where your from, hell if Solis pulls his fat butt together the next champ could be Cuban. HW's just don't seem to have the drive BESIDES K2. And that goes for EVERY HW besides them. So it isn't Europe, it is just the Klitschko's. Noone at the moment from ANYWHERE can beat them. Right now the division belongs to them and if nothing changes all of the folks complaining about how boring they are will be begging for them to come back when the ALPHABELTS change hands every other ****ing fight.:deal

This is very true, and a strong argument could be made that it is in the interest of ALL boxing fans who want their sport to expand and grow for this to happen. Great US HWs, for better or worse, help pump up the popularity of boxing.
