It's easy to say American heavyweights aren't that good...

    well the two best heavies are Ukrainian so what about the rest of europe? david haye? good and a belt holder but obviously not the best in the division.

    Im not doubting the impact of any of those names but my point is it's not the fact they were American that gave them wordwide recognition.
    Its because they were great fighters.

    No, this is true. Look at the NFL. Its mostly black americans. Europe is getting good at basketball. So that makes "two" sports that big guys are good at, boxing and basketball. Americans have football too. 50 guys on a roster and 30 teams. Im sure there are a lot of great boxers in that group.

    I've actually never heard "EURO LEVEL" before. American HW's and the HW divison as a whole is fairly weak in terms of ELITE level boxers. The Kilts are the only ones that are considered ELITE. And they are dominating very weak opposition not b/c they are cherry picking...jsut b/c it's SLIM PICKINGS to begin with. Right now the world of boxing is more GLOBAL in terms of Dominance and less dominant for one or two different countries.
