It's entirely possible that no active HW passes Vlad. K in greatness

Lennox "O Canada" Lewis is an ATG who was forced into retirement by the young powers of his day. He would not have survived another fight with either K-Bro, which is why he ultimately backed away from his promise to rematch VitKlit. Lewis is the real deal, but his legacy is marred as his reigns were broken up by one punch knockouts.

Posts like this make me wish the Lewis-Vitali fight had gone on so Vitali would be blind in one eye.

Brittards are back in full force since Wilder-Fury 2. Joshua was the golden boy they placed all their hopes in but now they pretend they always were Fury fans though they used to rate David Price above him.

Theres a longbway to gonfor Fury to crack the top ten a win ober Joshua stillndoesnt donit for me.

Furys a quality fighter but his resume is weak this far.nif we go officially his best wins are:

    Wladimir Klitschko
    Deontay Wilder II
    Derek Chisora
    Christian Hammer
    Otto Wallin
    Steve Cunningham
    Kevin Johnson

Its not even close to a great resume. He has the talent but theres a long way to go.

Joshua has a better resume imo still:

    Wladimir Klitschko
    Alexander Povetkin
    Dillian Whyte
    Andy Ruiz Jnr
    Carlos Takam
    Charles Martin
    Dominic Breazeale

Though theres not much between them. Neither are anywhere close to a top ten ATG ranking at the moment.

A top 10 hw with 1 successful title defense against a guy who lost by forfeit to a fat pig contender I think not

1.... Lennox was born in London England Not only a Brit but a cockney to boot !!
2.... Both his losses were really his own fault.
3....A barely 80% ready Lennox TKO 6 over Vitali
4... Wlad was nowhere to be found

I can’t believe OP had the audacity to discredit Wlad’s long reign as the top HW.. Fury still hasn’t made 1 defense and AJ lost to a guy in Andy Ruiz who wasn’t even recognized as an top 10 HW at the time.. If anything Wlad’s run should be respected more when considering Povetkin just KO’d the #3-4 HW and Wlad dominated him.. I rate Fury as having two better wins but Wlad still should be ranked higher than Fury in HW rankings

Wlad dedicated everything to the sport. His brother buggered off and had injuries and politics in general. Wlad after tasting the deck 11 times got the right trainer in Manny steward. Was he better than Lennox? No. But they weren't in the same Era. Was he more dominating than Vitali? Yes he dedicated himself to the craft. He had all the moves down:

Underrated footwork;, heart, obsession compulsion motivation, EVERY dirty tactic and nuance in the game. His skillset: piston like jab, a hook he could throw instead of s jab, a parry for every big right hand, size strength and a counterpunchee with a deadly right hand.

Manny said "he's the most athletic hw he's ever worked with" but then again, compared to lewis he is the non killer. Lennox brought savaragy to the sport that wlad just couldn't. Awesome hw though!

If you can be certain of fight outcomes, you should be a millionaire. There are no certainties in boxing.

Both Joshua and Fury have already surpassed Vitali.

If Fury beats Joshua, he will surpass Wlad.

If Joshua beat Fury, he still needs a few more fights to surpass Wlad, because he also has an embarrassing loss, and because a lot of his resume is already not aging well. But He will be well within reach.

He'll be undefeated and he'll have defeated the other top 2 HWs of his era (Joshua, Wilder), plus he'd have defeated the guy who dominated the era before this one.
    That makes him top 10.

Joshua and Fury definitely have better resumes than Vitali. Vitali's resume is weak.
