It's because the shoulder rolls defense is not suited for left handed fighter the punches come at different angles making it hard to roll and parry
What the hell does the shoulder roll have to do with this? Floyd used the high guard against Zab. The KD in question, came when Floyd threw a straight to the body, and got countered with a little quick right hook, which it looks like sent him off balance.
You know what happens if the reff calls it a knockdown??? NOTHING! Mayweather would still be the same fighter he is today, with the same record and attitude towards himself.
Wow thank you. Finally someone officially settled it for me. I could not sleep for years. Now i will be able to go on with my life....
haha seriously, almost everyone agrees it should have been a KD and its been discussed numerous times, but really who cares?
Sorry, but you can see Floyd stepping in and hitting Judah's foot, tripping him accidentally while a counter right lands... The ref was absolutely correct in calling it a slip...
Every boxing fan knows this was a KD. The fact is though that the ref didn't call it. Oh well. Question is, "What bearing would it have had on the fight if counted?" At best? It would have given Zab one more point and maybe made Zab pour it on for another round. So at round six Zab would have been ahead by a point or two instead of even or down a point. At worst? Mayweather would have gotten up pissed and REALLY taken it to him. Either way... Zab would have still lost by UD or possible TKO. I say this as a Zab fan.
Under no circumstances do you call a trip a kd... The ref saw that, and that's why he did not score it a kd... It's clear to me Floyd seems to want to step in to plant his foot, and he can't and trips and gets hit.
all four rounds were close. Yea judah have some big moments early but majority of the round was controlled by floyd and floyd landed more.
